My first homecoming and game as an alumni, I had a awesome time and I enjoyed both bands.Clark good job, I know you are not were you want to be but you will get there, because you have a awesome new band director Elizabeth City was pretty good with her; and the BOD wonderful as usual. Good job both bands

@@ejones440 Music Scholarships and lack of funding from the state, even though it's a private institution. It's something that is affecting most HBCUs, especially the smaller ones. It goes back to feeder programs from high schools and most HBCUs going after the few students still interested in band music. Most of the students end up being recruited by the larger schools, unless the smaller schools have more money to put towards recruiting the students interested in music. SMH it's a larger issue at play that could be a deeper conversation.
