    At that price range you'd expect a stitched on sole, rather than glued on, where the sole falls off well before the upper is worn out.

      Got a good 5 years out of the first pair. Second pair are going well so far 👍

    Good boots alright. I’ve chopped through two pairs of Rangers and have shifted up to the Tibets. In a perfect world I’d have both. I like the extra durability of the Tibets but the flexibility and weight of the Rangers….

    What socks do you use in NZ??
    And in Aussie for that matter?
    I seem to get hot feet with woolen socks but I don't know what other to wear

      Hey mate I have been using the Kathmandu NuYarn which I really rate. Good sock at a good price when they are on sale.

    The new version of the Ranger does not have a full rand. LOWA provides a toe and heel cap instead. The new Ranger is a better looking boot !
