I tried SPAM recently, and I couldn't really eat it without searing the heck out of both sides with a sweet spicy glaze (hoisin and chilli sauce). It's satisfying watching you enjoy it even though I hated it.

Best way to enjoy SPAM is either pan fried or boil some water and leave the can in it for at least 5mins still sealed... in my opinion it makes it more flavorful!
I've never had any of those flavors, but I'd try them. I didn't have spam until I was deployed in the Army, it's good stuff ~ especially when you're deployed. LOL
How do you fry spam? Like the actual thing out of the can? Or spread it on bread then fry it on both sides?
I am a huge fan of spam. I have been eating it for 60 years. I like it cold on a sandwich , fried , grilled and added with my eggs. I always have it on my shelf.

Slice it to the size of skinny french fries, brown it in a pan, eat it with/in anything! I dare you to even add a few pieces to a good grilled burger, with cheese! Most underrated long-ish storing emergency food!

@RoachDoggJR it's totally safe and normal to eat it cold. That being said it is nicer fried
I love spam. Fried on a toasted buttered english bun with an egg and a slice of cheese great breakfast.
You need to fry that spam that’s the best way it’s served. Spam, egg and tomato is the best sandwhich ever.

Spam is the ultimate boat food. If you are ever at sea, Caribbean etc. Lasts a long time, and tastes great fried.

I never saw anyone eat Spam with a spoon.
You can eat it whichever way you prefer , i eat it just like him straight out of the container with a spoon.
The Low Sodium version is my favorite Bacon Spam was awesome last time I fired / tried it.
I love fried spam.. I make it with eggs and rice... or even tacos with cilantro, green sauce, Mexican cheese, onions and lime 🤤

Can be eaten raw but yes better cooked
It's already cooked in the tin, it's designed to be eaten hot or cold, I prefer mine grilled or fried but have eaten straight from tin while on deployment

Taras you should try frying the spam and have a fried spam and fried egg sandwich. That's what we enjoy doing in the UK.

Thin sliced Spam and cheese sandwiches are great. Fry the Spam lightly then put on bread with cheese like a grilled cheese. Mmm
