  • After arresting a man, officers notice him wiggling around in the back of the police car. The suspicious man is sweating profusely and officers find he has attempted to dump his drugs behind the police car seats. Elsewhere cops catch a woman lying about her drug possession.
Real-life officers are followed by a camera crew, cinéma-vérité style, in a gritty up-close look at police work and the consequences of crime. It spawned a number of police-reality imitators.

As someone who was married to an abuser I can tell you first hand is not as easy to get out as one thinks. Normally you are love bombed and threatened, kissed and beaten until you don't know what to think. You don't have faith that you can provide for your kids but you are terrified because you do know what his fists feel like. For me it took proof that my children were being abused. That was it. While I had no love for myself, I was a mom. So we ran away to another state. Looking back I would say to any young mom, leave! You are important and don't wait for him/her to hurt the children. The min he/she hurts you, they've hurt the kids. Edit: I wanted to edit my response because a lovely man was concerned. I'm remarried to a phenomenal man who has brought healing, love and health into my life, my now adult children( who he helped raise the 2 youngest), and our grandchildren's. If a parent can not or is not willing to protect their child/ren from this kind of chaos, perhaps they should not even have them in their custody. I understand that we have to protect ourselves first, but this dog situation broke my heart regardless. He deserved an owner who knows how to handle his breed, and could protect him from being injured or put down by being let out to attack others. Animals aren't as rational as we are, so we need to do better when it comes to situations like this.

An animal like that is useless, a danger to the public, and a time bomb to the owner. If a person owns a dog, it is their responsibility to train that animal and get them used to other people. If they fail to do that, then the owner might as well lock them up in a cage for their ENTIRE life, because this type of thing WILL happen when the anti-social animal eventually escapes. There are plenty of classes, dog parks, and training facilities around to get a dog used to the public. No excuse for owning dogs like the one in this video, it's called laziness and ignorance on the owner.

Right like as if they should know right from wrong when put in unknown situations. This is literally what their natural instincts tell them to do. They do it because of trauma, fear, protection, or because their owner instilled those behaviors purposely.

Having learned some stuff from watching tonnes of these videos: you have to tell someone you're going to taze them, unless there is not time to do so in the context of preserving life. You can't just taze someone for resisting arrest passively, they have to be posing an active threat. Otherwise, you need to announce that it is about to be used.
Edit: I said this in context of the black lady who took a tazer from the cop firing through the passenger side. The guy who pulled the cop off the girl and got tazed on the ground was sort of better because she announced that she would use three times, but he was already restrained on the ground when he did and she at no point attempted to help the other office get cuffs on and went straight to tazer before she even saw him, "Let me taze him".
I totally get wanting to, I'd want to taze him too, and it makes things easier and it's safer for the officer. But tazers are no joke, they can and do kill people and they need to be isolated to when they are required to avoid having to use lethal, not as a way to reduce muscle strain or punish misbehavior. Using them the way they are is not legal, at least at this point in time - I'm no lawyer.

There are loads of good men out there …I’ve been with my hubby for almost 40 years and he has never once hit me or even swore at me … I told him the first date we had that if a man ever laid his hands on me it would be the end of the relationship…my girls have chosen well with their men and hopefully they will continue to live a life without violence and fear at the hands of the one man in the world other than their father who is meant to protect , love and cherish them …not hurt them .

A dog like that, that is anti-social, is a useless pet. The owner SHOULD have got the dog into some training or classes in order to deal with the dog's fear of other people, and if unsuccessful, then put the dog down as it's a useless pet. Her excuse of "I want to let them stretch their legs" just shows how ignorant and uncaring she is when it comes to her animals. I hit a dog and was horrified. I pulled off the road and knocked on the doors to the homes nearby. The dog was still alive but not moving. The owners came outside and I'm frantically calling vets. So they piled in my car and held the dog while I drove to the vet. I was prepared to pay for the vet. And was shocked that they said I hit their dog and I had to pay. Honestly, they would have to pay me for damages to my car. It's crazy that they think it's my fault I hit their dog that was running wild without a leash or collar. Fast forward to the vet, the internal injuries were too terrible and Chloe died. I paid for that visit and the bag that they put her in so that the owners could bury her. I can't go down that street anymore. It's just outrageous that people do the wrong thing and then they blame somebody that's doing the right thing. I wasn't speeding. I could have just kept driving if I was heartless.
