In case you guys missed it, I am completely blind regarding Heaven's Feel, so similarly to my Silent Hill 2 Remake series, my thoughts on every episode have a designated section in the description! Sorry this one took a bit longer to get out, I did a full playthrough from the very start, when Shirou wakes up, as kind of a refresher course and a way to see our new stuff more seamlessly! I love the commentaries in the descriptions, its really fleshed out! And yes, that is different parts of different tracks of tsukihime music playing in the backround of news broadcasts. They are cut and spliced together but all the different songs are from tsukihime. A great easter egg for fans of the previous work 😂 that has been in there every time there was news from start of the game
That's really cool, I genuinely never would've caught that if you didn't show me that web version of Tsukihime. Since I was playing through the game completely fresh, my ears perked up when I heard it! You can see me stopping around there to make sure I wasn't crazy (lol) Glad you like the commentary bits, still trying to figure out how I want to go about that, since I wrote a lot mid-recording. Definitely want to make sure I'm paying attention with all the new stuff coming up in Day 4 onwards! I really do prefer writing them in the heat of the moment rather than afterwards, since the thoughts you get to see aren't influenced by what I find out later in the episode!
14:55 In the case of Heaven's Feels route, the divergence from the other routes, occurs earlier from summons Saber in the day 3, specifically the day 1. For the simple decision from help Sakura with the chores, than be focused in your own chores, leading to that Shirou start his interest in the Matuo girl.
And it's all because Shirou helped Sakura. According to the Flowchart, there is no other method of starting Heaven's Feel. You miss that moment, and you're completely locked out of this route! It all starts a chain of events where Shirou's life gets fundamentally altered for noticing his feelings for Sakura. It's been just 2-3 days into the route, and we're already off to a wild start!
@@BackloggedYGO Yeah. The route of Heaven's Feels, can start even before of the events of Holy Grail War. Adding the fact that this route start because you showed interest in Sakura, its like a manner to show us that the relationship points will be an important mechanic in this route, in the sense of get some affection level with some characters, like Rin and Sakura, to prevent falling in Bad Endings. *Note: The mechanic of the relationship points had also relevance in Fate route, specifically with Saber, as you need get some affection level with your Servant, to avoid that Kotomine can convinces her from kill you in a Bad Ending. While in UBW, the relationship points were irrelevants.
Honestly, the points actually mattered just as much in UBW as they do in Fate! Just like you mentioned with the Bad Ending if your points are too low with Saber, the same things happen in UBW! It's at the point where you lost Saber, and Rin and Archer go off on their own! If you don't have enough points with Rin, instead of looking for her, you go to the Church and get killed by Caster! Bad End #21 (ua-cam.com/video/bbnjZBQpuc8/v-deo.html) Also, don't forget, your point totals in UBW affect which ending you get! Obviously, you need Saber points for the Good Ending, and a lot of Rin points for the True Ending! Anyways, this time around, it seems there are going to be 4 point checks in total for Heaven's Feel, with Sakura and Illya being who we need to focus on!

I am definitely planning on doing a full playthrough of Tsukihime! A channel regular, MrInuhanyou123 introduced me to a web-based version of the original that I really want to go through! I'm also definitely considering playing through the Tsukihime Remaster when all 5 (I believe) routes are available on a PC port!
