14:57 this was the FIRST appearance of Cad Bane in animation since The Clone Wars, over a decade. Due to the deleted scene featuring his duel with Boba in TCW, where he was implied to have been killed, we thought that was his canonical death. So we were completely unprepared for Cad Bane to show up alive and well after TCW (though without spoiling it’s implied the deleted duel did take place). Then he shows up in Boba Fett a few months later. Both intros to him are PEAK, and I can’t imagine the hype that would’ve been boosted even more if his appearance in Boba Fett had been his first appearance since the early 2010’s. That intro scene is just.. MAN
My favorite quote from the ENTIRE Clone Wars show is from the end of the Umbara Arc where Rex and Fives are discussing what all had just happened. "Someday this war is going to end," -Fived. "And what then? We're soldiers. What happens to us then." -Rex Still a very important question now as well. Also, a cool details with the duel is how each person shoots. Bane fires like a gunslinger (obviously) and gets the shoot off early, while Hunter aims his whole arm which takes him longer to aim and fire. If Bane was slower, then he would have got shot.
Just pointing out that this season also came out before Book of Boba Fett and was the first time Cad Bane had been seen onscreen in nearly a decade, and it was entirely out of the blue. To say I lost my shit when I watched this episode for the first time would be an understatement.
Outside of being a defective clone, there’s no specific reason Crosshair’s chip was only partly working before it got intensified About the standoff between Bane and Hunter. Something we didn’t get in Clone Wars because of the cancellation was a big bounty hunter arc with Cad training Boba, things happened that turned Boba against him, they have a standoff and shoot each other. That’s how Boba gets his well known helmet dent, and why Bane has a plate on his head you see later, even in Book of Boba. You can actually watch a rough animation clip of it. The standoff was basically used as a template for this one. Omega indeed doesn’t have a chip. Doesn’t come up again

hey Normies. Don't know if someone already recommended it but you should try the series "From". It has 3 seasons and it's horror and basically about people who can't leave a village. There is a lot mystery going on and the music and story is fantastic.
