Does Logitech Lie About DPI

My Logitech G Pro Wireless stats in GHub that is has 25600 DPI Max.
The exact same opuse shows as 16000 DPI Max when used in LGS.
To test I checked my G502 Hero, it shows 25600 in Both GHub AND LGS.
