I ran into Felipe Esparza two years ago at LAX; we both were Dallas bound. Before boarding, I came up to him to tell him how I was a fan and how I had seen him at the Brea improv not so long before that day. He was super cool wasn't a stuck up we took a picture, and he even invited me as a guest to the show he was going to do in Dallas, Texas. My girlfriend and I had a blast that night in Dallas. Felipe is a good humble guy and a hilarious comic.
I experienced the same with fluffy at the ontario improv, met him cus I was dating the clubs manager. this was in 05 , he was selling t-shirts after the show then we took him to in n out lol. He was such a nice guy. They're both funny no need to be fighting.

I seen Felipe Esparza perform in 1996 at Gothoms in Montebello California and this one girl in the front row made the mistake of telling him he was not funny during his routine and Felipe without missing a beat told her 'Ay you want to hear something funny here you go , What do you do for a living bitch ? she answers back and he tells her really cause it looks like you kick bricks for a living cause your toes are all fucked up " man that chick got laughed out of the bar .
She should have told him Hows your relationship with your kids….ya dead beat

You can tell Gabriel and Felipe that both of them have their asshole side just like everybody else in this world, but I'm pretty sure they both are nice people too. In all reality, the fame, jealousy and money is what got in between them and broke that friendship. Plain and simple
So he's mad fluffy was shy and didnt speak up, then tries to finesse the kid, then gets mad when he speaks up. Sounds like Felipe is just mad he saw gabriel come in as that inexperienced kid and turn into one of the biggest comedians around. All while leaving him to do shitty podcasts like this

Idk there doesn't need to no beef between these two. I love both of there styles Fluffy is a little cleaner, Felipe is raw and nothing but no clean family apologiy during the show. Hope they both can talk to each other in time or be friends again imagine a podcast with those two would be hilariously funny both can be successful

I agree I feel like Felipe gave him a chance and Felipe had his niche and started doing good and he felt entitled to his success, towards the end of their run Felipe was opening for Gabriel. Imagine Gabriel says what other top 10 comic is letting you open for them, give me all your check. I think Felipe is really good and deserves more notoriety but he does sound bad in the interview a bit jealous of not being where Gabriel is.

I also saw the other part of tbe interview were Felipe started bitching about a raise and when he didn't get it he started messing with the tour, doing drugs and confronting the other comedians about the time on stage. The guy just said that you never bitch about money and then straight up lost friends and job for bitching about money.

I have known Felipe since I was 6 years old and I’m almost 50. He was always the funny guy who should make fun of any situation. I saw him at Denny’s in Montebello after the club. He was with Iglesias and he started to clown him. We had our own private show that night. I saw on Wiki, Iglesias was measured at 5’10. No way, I’m about that hight and I was a lot taller.

I don’t know much about their situation, but as far as this interview goes Felipe sounds like a hater. He starts by telling the cholo to tell Gabe to be a man and to speak up for himself. Then he goes on to say he let him go on stage ONLY because he had no other comic because they were all late. He didn’t GIVE him a chance because he wanted to. Then when Gabe became the man and spoke up for himself he became irate about it.
