- Atlanta is often called the cradle of the modern Civil Rights Movement. A strong infrastructure created by the organizations and businesses of “Sweet Auburn” Avenue combined with the city's historically black colleges and universities helped establish positive change during the 1950s and 1960s.
Love how good our people looked back then meaning Black 🖤 people
This is my city born and raised and I love it good or bad I love it.
💯% ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽
*THAT'S JAMES BROWN*
This is American history.
I noticed that this video has footage and interviews in the town of Monroe, Georgia. Are you familiar with the Moores Ford Bridge massacre of 4 black people that was committed there in the Monroe area back in 1946? Quite a story of a broad daylight, firing squad execution of two local black women and two black men there. It's well documented. The local sheriff was involved. And shout out to the Hester family there; they were involved in it from the very start of what lead up to it. Not enough documentaries are out on that town of Monroe.
Are you familiar with the fact that none of the neighborhoods you violent savages currently live in was built by no one that looks like you?
Thats how they delt with crack dealers back then
@@robertmann1972 no correlation whatsoever
@@robertmann1972dude you weird😢
Salaam my brotha ✊🏾
I thank GOD 🙏🏾 that I wasn't brought up in this era 😔, and in theses types of places.
How STUPID!!!!!!, The Mayor, the Police department,ALL of the key people that it took to run a town, was a WEALTH OF STUPIDITY!!!!!
Seems to me,that the BLACK PEOPLE that they looked down upon were smarter than them.
And now these same clans man's offspring are claiming to be native American Indians right? We need our checks ✔️
Exactly 💯
Thanks for this.
Times have changed... I never saw times like that when I was growing up.. I know it happened if they could still do it they probably would ...
These ppl don’t get tired
Built different back then
@23:50 is that mitch Mcdonald Father LOL
This video goes to show how uneducated our grandparents and parents generation was.Now I understand why they pushed us so much to get an education.
Starting to wonder which generation is really the most uneducated. This one I’m living with act as dumb as dumb can be
Speak about your own grandparents... Mines were very educated for that time! They had businesses, land, homes, and they would show you something if you tried them... but my grandparents were up north...
@@YOUR-WORD-IS-YOUR-BOND If your grandparents was educated good for them but a lot of them from the south wasn’t so go take your Uncle Tom behind back under the rock you came for under. With black people like you is another reason why the black community is f’ed up.
@@YOUR-WORD-IS-YOUR-BONDthen this comment obviously wasn’t for you. The majority though, parents and grandparents weren’t as educated and didn’t have the resources yours did. Lovely for you but unfortunate for the others.
@@chroniclesofdavon Make me change it!
I agree

Somebody made a comment down there exactly you loved how your people behaved back then how they dressed properly and spoke properly what happened was you let some black preachers and spokesman come in and teach you how to hate just when you receive the prize of freedom for voting and everything else and wallah that's what you got today cuz you went for it

At least they were not using each other for target practice back then.
Yea cause the wytes were too busy doing it to give them a chance
@@richmondwotterswow your stupid
Ask yourself what made you make that comment besides seeing Black ppl. Wherever u are from understand that this is the generation that fought for u to likely be here in the first place.
Oh they were . There are many videos to prove it . Not much is different .
