Thanks for putting this together. I like that you show the physical copies; I'm a fan of buying the physical copy, specially if the art-style is captivating, and more so if they have great adds like a manual or bonus items. You have a new subscriber.
Yes I love collecting physical copies of Shoot Em Ups. I will be doing a few more of these 10 Physical Shoot Em Ups on the Switch as well as covering several other consoles as well. So you should be entertained when they come!
Thank you sir.... I found your videos very helpful when I got into collecting Genesis shooters years ago. I really enjoyed your passion and you influenced me to pickup many of the Renovation titles. They may have cost a pretty penny, but they are must have titles.
Oh i know, shmup junkie is actually teaching this old dogs new tricks,i step away from retro for a couple years and i come back and alot has been happening, its awesome ty,great channel
Agreed... I have picked up the Alpha, but not the Bravo. Being that I already have the Psikyo Collections Vol 1-3, I am having a hard time pulling the trigger on the increasing price in Bravo.
Great video man. We have the same tastes. I can’t wait to see what else you have. I need to see if I’ve missed any Switch physicals that you have and I don’t. Edit: so far I have every physical that you have. Who knew Binary Stars went up so much in value!? Wow!
@@originalconsolegamer8572 - I know man...I missed the Esp Ra De special edition from Japan. I didn’t know it was out until I had already ordered the single copy and hesitated to spend another $180 or whatever it was and now it’s through the roof. Now if we ever get all the shmups I’m sure you’re waiting for from Strictly Limited like I am we’ll be ok.
@@reagandow850 dude SL when they first started was pretty good about getting their games out, now they are worse then Limited Run. Haha, don't worry I won't tell anyone. I could see a possible connection there. Ideally though if you get good at bullet hell shooters... then everything else after that is just trivial.
Thank you! Yeah Raiden V on the Switch is becoming even more harder to find. It appears that it has gone up in price since I made this video. Looks to be trending near or over $100 now.

@@karlwalker1771 there is absolutely nothing wrong with emulation. However, to act like there is something wrong with collecting is just ignorant. It's a much more productive way to spend your time as opposed to trolling.
I feel like most Raiden games are above average, but not great. So I would expect the same from Raiden IV Remix. I did order the Limited Edition from Play Asia, and it shipped out over a week ago, so it should be here any day now.
Shikhondo was kinda lame and amateurish, and I can't agree that the soundtrack is all that great, either. It has maybe one or two decent BGM tracks but is otherwise generic. The least forgiveable aspect, aside from the very boring level design, is the poor resolution of the background images. It gets Super Nintendo chunky at times when it scales, and not in a charming way.

I'd definitely reccomend Crimzon Clover as well, my absolute favourite shmup on the Switch.
