I could listen to her forever! She has a peaceful tone, I knew a few seconds in she’s a force to be reckoned with...I mean she’s a rower! I was surprised she shared her journey bc she’s a “people pleaser” so I thought she would think about it and say to herself...”I don’t want to burden anyone with my problems but I’m so proud of her for not thinking about it that way. When I hear someone like Nina speak about something traumatic they’ve went through I try to put myself in their shoes from day 1! I loved being a badass because Rowing was my sport 🤣HUGE shoes to fill that’s for sure! She handled everything with bravery and grace! She’s someone anyone would be lucky to have in their life! God Bless! #oceanismylotion #superwoman Oh my gosh I almost forgot how beautiful she is with no hair! I would totally keep my head shaved if I had her gorgeous face! ❤️
After being diagnosed with small cell and going through all the necessary test and preparations before treatment I felt the need to go online and check out the experiences of going through chemotherapy. I watched a few then I came across yours and after watching your videos I have no need to watch anyone else's videos. You're awesome. You've reminded me that I need to watch out for the mental health issues along with diet. Quite a few decades ago I was diagnosed with a chronic immune deficiency illness that had me in a bad space. I was alone to deal with it. I was in despair however like you I chose to be optimistic and eventually life was good again. You reminded me that I've done this before and can do it again. By the way you're attractive, with or without hair. :- )
Hi Nina, you're such a strong woman really someone to admire. My mom just got diagnosed with lymphoma but they're still in search of what specific type she has. I'm not sure how you feel sharing about the financial flactor of the treatment. My mom lives in an undeveloped country (Colombia) and I'm considering bringing her to the states to see if she can get treated faster. She's been dealing with this for a year and a half and just until now she's being told it is a lymphoma. My main concern is that we won't have enough resources for her to get treated here. 🥺🥺
Nina is our superwoman. Her story will help others get through cancer chemo and other setbacks 😊.
