What do you think of the latest lens from Sigma?
What should I choose this Sigma 28-45/1.8 or Sony 35/1.4? The price is the same (actually Sony is on sale). With Sigma you get more lbs per dollar, but with Sony you get a brighter aperture. I'm conflicted.
It’s great to see companies going outside the box and making interesting lenses like this 28-45 f1.8 constant zoom. For the right person, this lens is literally in a class by itself.
I would have preferred a more extended range like 24-45 f/2 or 28-50 f/2 or even a 35-75 f/2
great versatile niche street photography lens if you wanted something smaller and lighter there're already plenty of choices. Sigma makes very good value lenses especially in the used market
Very interesting lens and some key focal lengths in this. Though looks to be too big to be a 'street lens'. Will have to handle it first, but appreciate Sigma pushing to new boundaries in lens design.
Sigma 18-35 is my favorite lens on the crop sensor. I'd be a compelling one to have on a full frame.
It's approximately equivalent to 28-54/2.8 on FF. Any 24-70/2.8 (or even 28-70/2.8) would be a better lens.
@@USGrant21st Not quite. it's a 28-56 on FF but still 1.8, light gathering abilities dont change. it's only 2.8 when it comes to Bokeh.
@@dduartez99 you apparently skipped school when they taught physics. But you can still learn about equivalency, it's really simple.
@@USGrant21st HAHAHAH wow, you really are a knucklehead. Go read about physics. The amount of light gathered can’t change when going to a bigger sensor (duh).
This video would have been a lot more helpful labeling the focal lengths for the images and b-roll.
That will be a purchase as soon as it’s out

Uninteresting. Just use a 35mm 1.8 and spare the money and weight.

Nice heavy lense
It's too heavy.
24-105 f/2.8 would have been the lens for me not 28-45!
Canon has 24-105/2.8 and it's heavy and expensive, doesn't seem to be a good seller.
the music is depressing B&H, so cheap and bad taste
