Hi doc, I play rugby but I always watch your videos to help my game mentally, my performance is very poor recently because I am overthinking a lot. I try to have perfect technique but it’s effecting my game negatively, for example I question whether I can pass the ball properly even though I have been playing rugby for 10 years. I don’t have trust in my skills and I have watched your videos on it and am still struggling. I would greatly appreciate if you good help. I love your content and keep up the great videos 👍👍👍👍
It’s funny how you can say score doesn’t matter when you are on the course and you need to finish your last three holes with 3 pars. In that case your scores do matter. You know it and no amount of psychological self talk is going to change that. The real question is what causes self sabotage on the course, what is the root cause for missing a one foot putt to win. Is it fear of success, fear of failure or something else. Can that fear be changed or the minds reaction to the situation be changed. Saying the score doesn’t matter until you’re adding up your score at the end is empty, it is almost like crazy talk. You need to clarify my man

Yes, train it on the range, and trust it on the course!
