    WITCHCRAFT!!
    Thanks for the loud noise warning btw.
    You should make a similar video, but adding smoke to see the air currents and the fairy dust that makes these things levitate.

    Steel ball bearing & races - similar in size to the rolls of tape you showed. Hold the inner race stationary with your index & middle finger - get it spinning like hell (cool sound too) - then release it on the floor.
    It's not suspended with air but they go flying like a bat out of hell!

    We used to suspend steel files that were fitted with wooden handles.

    Noice, you must have a very very large air tank, as I never heard the air compressor kick in!

    it would be cool if you can some how introduce a stream of smoke so we can see the airflow

    Can you make a hole in the bottom of the cola can and see if it still works?
    I did some testing with a plastic tube similar in size to your test tube, only with a hole cut in the top, and it still floated.
    How can it float if the air can go up through from below?

    • @Legiaseth
      @Legiaseth 7 років тому +1

      stefantrethan Air can only go up at aimited rate, and thus the hole reduces the pressure difference a little, but not quite enough to prevent the object from floating

    Honestly.. could have easily fixed the audio in the same time it took to make a 'turn down your audio' opening slide

    Uzmi ping-pong lopticu i stavi je u vertikalnu struju vazduha. Loptica ostaje lebdeti iznad izvora strujanja vazduha, jer strujanje obuhvata sferu loptice i stvara se sferično simetrična razlika pritisaka usled opstrujavanja loptice (Bernuli!), dole veći a iznad niži pritisak. Rezultanta razlike pritisaka sa poprečnim presekom loptice daje dinamičku uzgonsku silu koja izjenačuje težinu loptice.... Jeli jasno? (nije na odmet i laicima znati malo aerodinamike!)

    Can anyone explain to me how that is possible with none-round objects like the can or the bottle?

    • @slaapkonijn58
      @slaapkonijn58 8 років тому +7

      Malik Chaabane the air over the top goes faster then the air under the object. the air going faster has a lower pressure(bernulli) this pressure difference keeps the object from falling.

      Malik Chaabane is works exact as a plane's wing, lower pressure under the object and higher on top mades the object to mantain itself on air, that's why planes can fly.

    • @josip.harasic
      @josip.harasic 6 місяців тому

      @@andresostep Kontra, niži pritisak je na gornjem delu krila, a viši pritisak na donjem. Razlika pritisaka u srazmeri sa dotičnom površinom rezultuje u uzgonskoj sili koja podiže krilo a time i letelicu... (aerodinamika)...😉

    Its clearly impossible for force to be applied to one side of something and it not go flying across the room. Based on a few observations its clear the ball spun on an axis so I say there is a string or wire involved.

      you're a juvenile idiot. Learn something.

    • @garyblackwell3023
      @garyblackwell3023 7 років тому

      Yea, its called physics. There is no action without an equil and opposite reaction. Meaning in order to balance something on a column of air it has to be applied as the perfect center of gravity and opposite to the force of gravity. Not off to the side. There is no equilibrium of forces when off to the side thus be pushed i the opposite direction.

    • @garyblackwell3023
      @garyblackwell3023 7 років тому

      jo k if perhaps it was applied directly opposed to gravity i might be tempted to call that plausible. However is is applied to the side. This makes it impossible because there is nothing on the other side to oppose the force of the air. It will be pushed away then drop. In no way is this even possible no matter how viciously the air blows. Its a cheap video hoax.
