Mewtwo is so tanky compared to other attackers, usually mons like ganger will eat any attacker in 3s but with Y it's a complete different story

Sometimes i feel like buffs like these are deserved. What balances them out is that speedster can be difficult to play or master. Not always.
But I do wish a buff or some kind of change for Absol, it had the lowest winrate and a fairly low pickrate too. He used to be my main but I stopped using him in the Mewtwo meta
Absol does not need a buff lol. Nightslash + Psycho Cut shreds Mewtwo Y and Pursuit + Sucker Punch counters Mewtwo X. People need to learn how to play with absol, then absol's winrate would be much higher.

lol wtf are you saying, absol doesn’t counter any of these, they counter him lol, absol is going to dissapear when mewtwo X grabs him, in a close fight he looses, mewtwo y MAYBE but just MAYBE Can struggle but still, absol gets destroyed and absolutely any speedster except for maybe gengar is better, i have reached 2000 elo with absol but still, i am well aware of his many weaknesses
Man people really are toxic in this community. I have been maining absol since the game's release, I know how to deal with every pokemon in the game. I'm just saying that absol can beat both mewtwos if used right.
I honestly love the dream eater shadow ball combo, and watching you play is extremely satisfying.

I recently played with Zerora discharge against gengar (cursed bangle, razor claw and muscle band with full heal) he is a great counter to buffed gengar as bangle reduces gengar’s healing and discharge give zerora shield.
the buffs to gengar don't stop, I know is not too much but they add up. give some of that love to Absol, at least some lifesteal just look how gengar goes back to full HP

Survivability is so underated on gengar, every extra second your alive is another 10 bodies lmao

there is day and night difference in between what we see in UA-cam and what we see in twitch
I used to think most of your games are like that but I was dead wrong
it was unexpected .. its better that before , i have around 1200 fights with gengar .. its ok i am happy about everything they do with him

As a defender main in ranked (Mammoswine ❤️), i don't fear this as much, but attackers mains should be careful yeah

@@kalpeshkhatri7655 personnally i play it with xp share and focus band, and as 3rd item muscle band for the ice stun/ score shield/ buddy barrier
6 brown 6 white for the medals, and x speed, and for the moves it depends on your preferences

Gengar is one of my favorite Pokemon and I am glad that these buffs made him alive again!! And he is fun to play now

Buffing speedsters makes attackers irrelevant.
Gengar and Absol are the worst culprits. They jump out and one hit you almost every time unless you're a tank. But even when you're a tank, it's only a matter of time until you're dead anyway
Exactly, I don't understand why people want already strong pokemon that can literally one hit fragile pokemon to be buffed. Absol definitely doesn't need to be buffed.
@@luckysqueaks984 There really is no need, it breaks the game. Gengar you can sometimes survive against but Absol you can't even run from because of pursuit.
@@laurenceh2019it’s a little something called turning around to negate the 9k crit. Pursuit is probably the easiest to outplay, night slash at least will kill you.

There's only a handful of mons who stand a chance against it, the rest get smashed

Gengar feels insane playing the hex version. Im like 90times.the MVP out of 100games with 10-25kills in masterrank. I cant stop playing bcause destroying oppenments as the team carrier is enyoable xX
I think buffing speedsters is always a good thing. Speedsters are needed to keep attackers in check and with that said buff absol, lucario and zoroark. Combo mons are still struggling hard in the game because they don't have any crazy burst so one remedy is giving the combos more burst damage so full combos are only needed to execute a team and also Pup should get its aoe effect back. People shut it down by bodyblocking it nowadays making the move worthless and if it got its AOE back it could still do its job. Absol needs some more hp and defenses. I dislike the notion that we shouldn't buff speedsters or buffing them is scary. When absol was insane to people there was far less cc and attackers running around which you know is a good thing.
Yeah a lot of people fear that buffing speedsters would ruin the game, but there are so many Pokémon that have stuns that are unnecessary. Like was water bear stunning people on the third surging strikes really necessary? Sacred sword Zacian, stomp tsareena, there’s like so many new Pokémon that would cancel a speedster so easily now.
Attackers are already kept in check by all Allrounders and Defenders, who do nearly the same damage as Attackers. Speedsters are just a bit quicker with that. Hence why Attackers besides of 9T and Inteleon are mostly gone from the game
I wouldn't say all rounders do an amazing job at keeping attackers in check. Attackers usually have good mobility or get off me tools and now with curse items adc's found their footing again and can carry teams once they get their powerspikes. Lucario can't even fight attackers as well as other speedsters and suffers from being full combo reliant like Zoroark. Like why does it take 5 shadow claws to kill A9 and why does it take 3 espeeds to kill a9 as lucario? Neither have great sustain to survive doing this full combo in teamfights and neither have what they need to excel at their roles. Lucario is a skirmisher with Espeed but lacks the damage and sustain needed to do his role. With pup lucario is a diver without the necessary aoe and sustain. With Zoroark not enough sustain to assassinate despite being in the speedster role and lacks heavy burst damage compared to the other mons that do a similar thing like zera and absol have far more burst than Zoroark. People are still overrating Zoro because of this. If Zoroark had more sustain or burst and could live through its combos in fights it would be much better but without cookie its as fragile as absol. Lucario is as fragile as a speedster while being under the all rounder role and also lacks sustain and burst of its counterpart that do similar things. Zacian is a better diver and SS urshifu is brawler espeed thats also boring and super easy to play. Zoroark is outclassed by zera honestly and i would rather have a good absol on my team over a good zoro because zoro relies on the feint claw combo so hard and you have to do so many of the claw hits and feint follow ups to kill one attacker which is absurd to expect when its not expected of other mons easier to play and those mons have better sustain and burst damage.@@danielmeyer6994

This season has brought me back to the game, this update needed something new and I’m liking it so far
Gengar is my favorite, I am glad he is more playable
Why did the buff the defence though? Pointless especially since they nerfed its healing indirectly by curse incense and bangle.

Not sure I can get behind Gengar being so powerful after watching a Gengar/Comfee literally 1 shot most of my team. And he dived me (Mewtwo Y) with half health without Comfee as I Mega-ed and I still died, which to me makes no sense. Full HP sure, but if he can 1 shot you and you're within 1 level, you should at least have an opportunity to kill him first if you catch him with less health. 😒
