I lost my mother a couple of months ago, yours songs bring me hope. I hope one day I can be as brave as you and do things to help myself instead of letting everyone around me control everything I do and make me feel like a burden for having wants and needs. Should i continue to sacrifice my own happiness and coping mechanisms for others comfort and well being? No! Maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to help myself for a change and not feel guilty when gaslit about it 😢…..I miss you mom I hope to make you proud one day and reach the potential you’ve always seen in me even though I can’t see it myself
