As a chess player I appreciate you using the chess way of naming the squares instead of the standard checkers names for the squares, which tend to confuse me.

Thanks for the videos! I love Draughts/Checkers.
At 1:52 White can even up again after the trade with a two for one with C7-B6 but ofcourse leaves the double corner wide open for black to get a crown and strand the piece on F4.
Also at 6:06 black can play and win easy by C1-D2 forcing White to jump from B3xC1 getting a short lived crown/king, black allows the king who is compelled to jump in the next move and take the piece by then playing C7-D6. Black king has to jump C2xE3 and black has triple jumps from F2 xxxD8 and king. Then White H4xE2 jump and then Black jumps G1xE3

4:38 never put your checkers into a group like that (g5, f4, h4 g3) especially if its the opponent's turn after you create that formation. If the opponent moves d5 to e6 you jump his piece and he gets two of yours with the h6 piece and he'll still get your piece that's now in d5 no matter what for a 3 for 1 trade

6:14 the king moved into the space between two of the opponent pieces, there was also an opponent piece right in front of the king after he moved, so then the opponent can easily cut backwards and kill his king... I’m pretty sure that that’s how this game works. It’s says that in ever rule book of all my checkers games. Did he like make a mistake there? Or is that what he thinks is the rules?

I usually have fun with checkers but some folk like to sit back and wait till you move a back piece, then they snag a king and just move back and forth till you run out of turns. It’s the most boring strategy and gets rid of the last part, where each of you have nothing but kings and are trying to trap each other, which is my favorite part.

Some of your ideas are okay but there are a lot of flaws. The way you count the center includes non-game squares. You use non-standard notation. The idea about maintaining all four back row pieces is very unsound--- you are then effectively playing 'down' two pieces. Only trading off if you are up two pieces? If you're up two pieces it's pretty hard to lose; normally one is enough and you trade off right away if the trades are sound. Your example of 'moving pieces up in a group' is flawed; the position as shown allows an immediate 3 for 1. And your line (usually called a Dyke position) is on the wrong diagonal and is actually quite easily broken up by the opponent. Study a book like "Checkers for the Novice" to get some sound instruction.

QUIET!!! I Am der Neo-efil Nazi KITTY World Champion of Kitty Checkers. When I am Nicht Plotting World und Mouse Domination, I do Like to Sit, Have Kitty Treats, German Beer in Mein Kitty Bowl, und Engage in Kitty Checkers with Mein Fellow Kitty Officers. First of All, in Kitty Checkers, like Mouse Hunting, der "Next Move" is Verrry Important...But-but der Better Kitty Checker Players see der STRING of Moves Ahead. Hoho! Un-und then there is der Puddy Paw Print Tactic for Kitty Checker Positioning....Ho! Just look at Kitty Paw Prints in der Mud or Snow. Hoho! Un-und there is also der Slanted Kitty Whisker Formation that Goes in Rows, thus der Rear Protecting der Advancing Aggressive Ones. HO! But that is All for Now from der World Kitty Champion of KITTY CHECKERS! I have to Get Back to Plotting der Total Enslavement of der World und All MOUSES! Ho! --Perpenfuhrer (A.E.P.P. recruiter und PR kitty)

lol... there is a guaranteed winning strategy... so why bother even playing? Any decent player can map it in his brain, so when you become good enough, the game gets boring.

@@GRIMSREVENGE253 but you can be good as you want, at a certain point it is about which side you start, not how good you are. When you know the winning strategy, no one can beat you, whatever he plays.

@@kyrilcouda Would love to play you. That kind of talk wakes me up. We play Russian Draughts with the backwards jumping and the King can move multiple spaces but we did change one rule. We kept the if you don't take your jump your piece get blown instead of you have to take all jumps rule which makes the game more messy in our opinion. But the way we play you can put traps all over the board.
