This is a sleeper hit in Disney Imagineering. I love the use of terrain, tunnels, and incredible theming. It also seems like they thought a lot about the coaster's layout with how much it interacts with itself. Amazing work.
I love how this really feels like a combination of other Disney coasters, with just a touch of upgraded tech. It starts off feeling very similar in the layout to mine train, but the theme mean takes a turn more like thunder mountain, but then you have the scenes in the mountain and the backward section like Everest. It really feels like the best of all of them put into a new coaster. 👍
Seems like a really good ride. I thought it was to slow, but it seemed like it got a little faster when going backwards, and then it got much faster when it went frwd again to the end. There arent any bears at the california ride because this park stole them. Lol.
What I really like about the Big Grizzly Mountain Coaster is its design of traversing through the underground tunnels of the small land of Grizzly Gulch.
oh man, I loved this, to the average coaster rider it wasn't scary at all, but everyone riding it was smiling the entire way, and non regular coaster rider would find it very fun and exciting. to me the best coaster in hk disneyland is still the star wars space mountain, toystory RC car coaster was also fun but I love space mountain more.
I was reviewing my notes from American History and realized the Chinese were mainly responsible for the railroad construction. The fact they have their own take on Big Thunder is really great.
As a Frontierland Nut I wish I had better access to this! I'd say add it to the American parks but I sure don't want to replace anything! Better go to Hong Kong!
I'll probably never get to ride this and it's hard to judge from a POV. But I love the feeling, and the launch at the end really surprised me. The layout looks flatter than the various Big Thunder Mountains however, so it probably doesn't have the airtime.

wow! it reminds me of a mix between everest and big thunder mountain with some grizzly river run theming throughout! that looks super fun!
This ride is freaking amazing. I prefer this over Big Thunder Mountain.
Wow what a great looking ride, love the fake lift hill bit and then you go backwards, and the launched bit after that looks great

My favourite ride in HK Disney! Mystic Manor is a close second, and Frozen Ever After a close third 😁
