One thing Rohbrot didn't consider in those fights is that the Caroleans had 15 range vs 12 range. So they could engage first, could possible kite a bit, or at the very least wouldn't have to spread units out so much to fully engage the Indepenance guard. Swedes totally would have won that IMO if they didn't have to go. It's a pity Swede player never dove in against those factories. or claim those city towers. He at least could have claimed the city tower and deleted it
In the big fight Rohbrot put half his muskets into melee mode for some stupid reason. Guard caroleans actually have better melee vs musket than muskets do vs Carolean. This looks like a swede victory to me tbh, but maybe I'm underestimating how hard it will be to kill the heavy cannon with what he has left. If I were Rohbrot I would have waited for Heavies to come out first and spammed more musket before going Colombia. He dallied for ages waiting for Heavy cannons, even though he had imp musket pretty fast actually.
Hey, Storchi here :) The game was pretty close, Iä think i would've won this, because of his economic situation (no rec and the most importent part is, his shipment curve is pretty bad at this point , ergo no more musk shipments. My biggest mistake was to take the first big fight. I should just age, send falcs and just win with way more eco. But nevertheless it was an awesome game. :)
You also didn't ally with the House of Phanar, Evzones hard counter musketeers and he made mostly that (even before he revolted to Colombia). The mountain monasteries you get have a tech that allows you to mass them even faster...so much better and cheaper than Jagers. Solid game regardless of the result 👍😎

my guess is that he changed his mind about his first shipment in age2, from 5vil to 700c, just for the extra tempo.
