- Bronzer and Highlighter Cleanout. As always, no product will go to waste. All items cleaned out from my collection will find a new home. Nothing is thrown away. A few items I'm sending to family. The rest I donate to my local Women Helping Women shelter. I've been donating my gently-used items there since 2012. Including makeup, perfume, beauty samples, body care, haircare, skincare, nail polish, clothing, etc. If you're interested in donating to your local shelter, simply contact them to find out what items they accept, it varies by location. Don't be shy, most of those women left with nothing, they're starting over completely, they could use just about anything right now in their lives, even if it's just a little something that makes them smile or feel pretty again. :) xo Christine

Watching your original declutter videos really inspired me to go through my own collection and get rid of the products I didn't like anymore or I didn't wear enough. After several makeup purges, I now have a relatively small and cute makeup collection that isn't the least bit overwhelming!!! I think one of the best parts of downsizing a makeup collection is having products that you LOVE not just like--it's oddly satisfying! I LOVE these videos, so glad you continue to make them!!!!
Please do an updated makeup collection video once you are done with all your decluttering. Ohh and i loved this video everytime you do decluttering or organizational videos i always get in the mood to do the same, plus you have some really great tips!

I LOVE THIS SERIES! It inspires me to decluttter even more. And I agree, its much better to have a small amount of favorites than a huge amount of products you aren't crazy for
When I started watching videos on youtube I got sucked in to the world of collecting makeup. I wanted to keep up with the latest products and kept looking for the "next best thing." When I came across your old declutter videos it changed the way I think about collecting makeup. I have gone through my collection multiple times and have paired it down to what I feel I can use. I have given things to family and friends as well as donated to my local women's shelter (something I didn't realize you could even do before watching your videos). These are my favorite ones to watch of yours because it is refreshing to see someone acknowledge that they have things they don't really need instead of hoarding it all. We all buy things that we don't need sometimes whether it be clothes, shoes, food or lipgloss, but the trick is to learn to realize when we are doing it. Thanks for helping me change my views about "collecting" makeup!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE AND AM OBSESSED WITH ALL OF YOUR DECLUTTERING, ORGANIZATIONAL, AND COLLECTION VIDEOS! I get so excited for them and rewatch them all the time when I am cleaning and organizing my own room! Love you Christine!

I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS... I was really into the downsizing series you put together before the big trip. It's great to buy stuff, but I think a balanced perspective on not letting things get out of control is a great addition to collecting makeup. Thanks for filming these videos! Sandra

Can't wait to see you tackle the blushes and eyeshadows. I know it will be difficult, but you can do it! I am down to 1 bronzer and the dior amber diamond plus a mini Laura Geller highlight and a mini Laura Mercier highlight I received as a 500 point perk. I love bronzers and actually want to add back in one or two soon. I have my eye on the Buxom one you love and it was great to see what you kept/what you got rid of. Take care!

Great video! I just reached 30 this year and I notice that I've been wanting to purge a lot too. I think as we mature as women, we care less about quantity and more about quality. Life becomes less about keeping up with others and more about learning what you like and re-adjusting. Thanks for bringing mature content to the YT Beauty community!!
I love the declutter videos, I've been watching them since 2012! I definitely think if you only keep products you love it's so much more fun! It's not fun having to try using up products you don't love

You have inspired me to declutter everything! Clothes, makeup, jewelry, shoes. They have all gone to new homes. I still have a ways to go but I already feel a weight lifted off my shoulders.

You're doing so well!!!!! And even though my make up stash is significantly smaller, you've really inspired me to just keep/use products I really enjoy/need. I now try not to make spur of the minute purchases as well, so I take the time to test and read up on an item before buying. Then, I can see what makes it different to ones I already have. Plus - this has helped my acne prone skin, to not keep so many products in rotation and to read up on the ingredients before buying. Thank you:)
Also... Way to go on getting down to four bronzers and three highlighters. That is such a great accomplishment, and I know you had a lot more last year and especially the year before. It is nice to only have a few favorites. The wayI get rid of things I don't use is I place them in a bag separate from my makeup I use.. If I miss it and want to go get it, I keep it. I f I don't miss it at all, I give it away. You inspire me SO MUCH!
Its so refreshing to see these videos .. Get rid of what u dont love and cherish what u do love .. We live in such a consumerist society .. Its really scary actually .. I think some people really try to find happiness through buying things .. Not that im innocent but ... Yeah great to see u go through your collection

I finally just found a bronzer that is not orange on me, so I have a few extra ones that I will have to give to friends who can use that shade as well! I just love your decluttering videos, I am decluttering in the same way all the time, I do struggle with re-stocking though once I have freed uo some space. One thing I would love to see is how you put them back into the perspex container. I am an organising junkie and I love the way you store things.
You are my "decluttering queen". Hands down :D. I really admire you a lot for doing these declutter videos. It always reminds me not to buy things that is not needed, though I don't have huge make-up collection as I barely wear. I have few items only which is good. Whenever I watched beauty gurus videos with their hauls and make up stuffs, I also got excited and that "wanting" feeling is always present which is very alarming hahaha good thing I am 10km away from the shopping areas :). Then everytime you have this declutter video up or I watched your previous declutter videos then I calm down and back to my senses. You always inspire me to control when buying things, not just makeup but whenever I do shopping. SOrry if this is long. :)
Hi Christine; as always I have enjoyed your thoughtful commentary on why you are keeping/ letting go of a product. I belong to a 'monthly makeup' subscription - nice way to try new products. I sort through right away if there is a product/colour I know I won't use.
I am purging right along with you, so I guess I know what I'm doing this afternoon ;). I don't have a big collection; but you are right...only keep and use what you love!

I so agree with you...keep and buy only what you love (I know we all make mistakes at times with our purchases) but I am ruthless now at getting samples wherever possible first and really being discerning about the initial purchase. Love your vids xx

Here you go again, girl when you release these videos I can't help but want to declutter more myself. Now I don't own or even want bronzers. I'm not a really big fan of bronzers. Tried a few just not for me. I love your videos, I'm actually gonna tackle my closet this weekend and declutter. then in 2 wks I'm gonna paint it. Your my inspiration. My hubby loves when I watch your videos.
Okay, this is going to sound weird. But I like folding laundry, because you take this great big pile of chaos and turn it into neat little stacks of folded organization. Your de-clutter videos give me a similar feeling and I love that! xoxo

I own one bronzer. Same one for years, it's Clinique, probably expired. I'm wanting to adopt a minimalist lifestyle, so really trying to keep things simple.

I love your decluttering videos and I have been thinking about doing the same. But finally today I did something, I collected rather large makeup bag full of beauty stuff and I am going to give it to my sister. I do not have as big collection ad you did have, but the amount of product waiting to get used was stressing me out.

I just started myself on a "project pan" of sorts. I've basically banned myself from shopping for unnecessary products until January 1. I need to focus on using up the products I have in my collection! It's a slightly different take than your decluttering videos but it's the same basic idea. :)

Guys, its NOT about that! Its about Christine keeping & using what products she LOVES the most! Yes its nice, but she LOVES the ones she keeping!
She also does not throw stuff thats still good away. She gives it to family/friends and also donates gently used stuff to a shelter.

I just became re-interested in makeup (used to wear back in the 80s and stopped). Every time I think of buying something I see on UA-cam I think of you and say "nah you haven't even used what you bought as yet" LOL!!

Hoola is the BOMB! I am very light-skinned with cool undertones and Hoola is the only bronzer I have ever been able to pull off successfully.

Love these clean out videos ( I know I've mentioned this before, but I do!!) looking forward to your blush video. I love the el bronzer too! I have the 100% pure blush and I never use it ( the one that's so light it's a highlight for me- pink champagne). I need to pass it on too. Thanks for inspiring me :)
The Nars packaging is the exact same as for Nouba, and they are all difficult to keep Nice. What I do to keep them sort of Nice looking is a swipe with a wet cloth after every use. Good job letting go!

Thank you! Haha, yeah the nars, I had them for almost 4 years, they stayed nice until we moved house, it's hotter here, that's when I noticed the packaging really start deteriorating and getting sticky, gummy and peeling. Hugs
***** I wish mine was only dusty. All of my nars got sticky, gummy, and peeling. Pretty positive it was the heat and humidity. Never used the alcohol until after I couldn't bare the stickiness. It's all good though.
pinksofoxy Hey you can also depot the products from the packaging(nars bronzers) and put into z palettes. not sure if you wanted to do that though.:)

Everytime i see one of these videos I ask myself why cant i do this? I dont know why i cant just let go. I have gotten rid of a lot of stuff within the last month. But i still have like 30 lipsticks in my drawer. It's beautiful to look at and worrisome all at once. Good job!

I have one bronzer that I got in a bare minerals set. I got it 2 years ago and only wore it a few times. It's way too dark, orange for me. Also too hard to get just a little. I can't stand loose powders either. Definitely in the market for something new, something very light. Any suggestions?
