Think about update and improve the animation with no simultaneously animation each card, let my explain for example if your animation is from left to right and you have 2 cards one next to another (let's call them L ,R) so when the gradient shimmer finished the L card animation the R card shimmer animation will start... i think it's more difficult and something good to show and learn let me know i you what more explain about the idea or even demo video about that...

Mitch I face a problem with a new 7th version of the gradle as there ara 2 new methods I need to implement in order to be able to use fragments but u use an earlier version in your course and do not have such problem please give information about how to solve this issue I want to complete your JC course 😃

I read docs, but usually I start in the google samples on github. Then I try to build stuff and look up the docs as needed.
