(Alena) There’s so many verses on love in the Bible but I want to reflect on Romans 5:8. In Romans the Bible says that love looks like Christ dying on a cross. Our greatest valentine is not a card filled with red hearts and candy but rather a bloody red body nailed to a cross. Even in our sin, God’s love for us is so strong he sent his son Jesus to be killed by us and then poured out his anger of sin on his son instead of on us. It difficult for me to understand that kind of amazing holy perfect love! But this loving act gave the whole world a way to escape from eternal death!!!
It’s easy as a parent to love on our children when they are being cute and listening to every word we say (okay that never happens). But when our children our being disobedient over and over again, it takes patience, kindness, and selflessness to choose to continually love on our children instead of disciplining out of impatience, frustration and anger. (1 Corinthians 13:4)
In Ephesians 6, Children are commanded by God to honor their father and mother. It’s the only commandment God gave directly towards children and all children break it! This commandment even comes with promises their days will be joyful and plentiful. Ahh the secret to a long life!! But in the next verse God tells Fathers not to be to critical or overly corrective on children or it will upset and discourage them. We are to instead use the same type of instruction and discipline as God uses with us -his children. When love is our motivation for discipline, children are more easily able to accept their correction.
Often after I discipline my children I end it with a big long hug and tell them I love them. It makes them so happy and secure to know hey my mom does love me even though I did these wrong things. It takes away the guilt and shame of their wrong and covers it with love!
Satan wants us to hide our sin and hold on to feelings of guilt and shame in it. But God wants us to bring it out in the open, so he can teach us how to get rid of it and forgive us. We then just need to open ourselves up to receive that forgiveness and allow ourselves to be smothered in his love.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Great Word on God's love towards us His children. Bringing it home to how parents relate to children makes it more meaningful. What a Father, He communicates in our language. May divine understanding of Godly principles unfold daily in our lives. Great video and Thank-you for sharing such an amazing family blessing time!!!

I love this family... the parents ( mother and father ) see to it that they guide their children on the "RIGHT PATH". The relatives of both sides ( mother's and father's side) likewise give guidance to the children. If all parents are like you, we shall have a good, happy, loving society.

I started to love this family so much just by watching each of their videos because of the good parenting, the good relationship between the couple and the kids and their love ans respect to each other. It's so nice to watch them and it warmth my heart everytime. How I wish I had this kind of childhood with parents and siblings around, learning things and cheering me up for everything that I do. But then, I grew up with a broken family and been orphaned at the age of ten. So, now, I can only wish this family should continue to inspire people like me and everyone out there.

This is soo beautiful and reminds me of Nigerian culture. Nigerian parents do these kind of long prayers of blessings over their children on our birthday's and the whole family usualy will go round and say words of blessings and improvement for the person. We also greet our parents and elders similarly to this, so its soo beautiful and relatable to watch. Especially when grandfather spoke.

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this video with us! I swear, I felt like I was there with you all.
What a blessed family you are 🙏🏾✝️☦
You will not believe this, but I have watched nearly every-single-one of your videos and this one right here...BAR NONE, was the very BEST ONE I have watched!
The reason for this is because of the SPECIAL WORDS OF WISDOM GIVEN TO EACH CHILD. The words were so special and important to each of your children. It enforced and incredible sense of self worth within each child. This will help them to grow up to be worthwhile and productive human beings in this World and a strong foundation of the live and devotion you have for each one of them.
This also reminds me Kwanzaa; where special, words of wisdom are spoken to the children by the parents each day of the Kwanzaa celebration; which is 7 Days. 7 Candles are lit. The colours are 3 red, 1 black and 3 green.
The black candle symbolizes the people themselves, the three red candles are for the struggle or blood shed in the past, and the three green candles represent the Earth or possibilities the future holds.
