Me too. Made me teary. All children no matter how old they are need to feel like mommy's baby every now and then and I love that she has a specific song for each one of them
I watched the video where she was washing and treating the 4 older girls' hair. I was touched by how she had them separately one by one in the bathroom, treating them individually thus having that special bonding time with them, they and were able to express themselves as individuals, she gave them special attention and it was so touching.

I’ll admit, initially I was like “Oh No”, but after you said “she cut it pretty” it made me realize that we really project standards of beauty on children at such an early age. When my daughter cut her hair at 4, I was devastated. Why? She was just as beautiful with short hair as she was with hair down her back. I love the way you handled this. And in the end, this baby is beautiful.

I've been watching this family before Alena had her 4 child, when the were living on the East side. I truly enjoy this family. Their personalities have always been the same never pretending all these years. Much Love and Blessing to you family!!!!
At first when baby got her hair cut I didn’t think Alana was actually going to cut it “like hers” and when she did my reaction was kinda like Akylie HOWEVER seeing baby come out of her shell and just live life! Dance, jump around and be totally fulfilled with her new hair cut was simply beautiful to watch!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I don’t have children and I’m 28 but if God bless me with any one day I pray I’m half the parent and mother you are to those beautiful beings!

One thing I noticed about baby is that she is very determined and head-strong I love this for her! She woke up one day and said I had a dream, my name is Ajaiu and told everyone to refer to her as such. She wanted to have hair like you and when you were movin she decided to get things done. I pray she is always as determined and doesn't ever let anyone tell her she can't do something
Little girls always always wanna look like their mothers bc that’s they’re reference of beauty ❤️Feels like yesterday when Akyli decided to cut her hair
This was so emotional for me. I don't know if it was the fact she wanted to look like mom, if it was the kindness and love the mom received the cutting (we would've been punished), the mom's cutting of the hair with tenderness and love, the children's individual reactions with love in very word. This was amazing.
I love how you are teaching your children very good principles through your actions and thinking before saying reactions. I especially loved seeing it in the younger ones, where after the service yous were eating lunch and Alena passed a sushi wrap over to (I believe it was) baby and how she opened it but the very first cube she offered it to her brother. That right there was just amazing, sharing with others without much promoting from the parents, shows such great character and love. Thank you so much to this family for sharing a little piece of their everyday lives with us, I truly appreciate it.🖤🌻🧡
I love how Connected your family is. I Love how you future them & allow them to be individuals & you Love on them. Especially, when baby said she wanted her hair & snuck & cut it. You just finished her for it & didn't punish her I thought was totally a different way of parenting!
I love everyones reaction to her haircut. its amazing. Also the fact that she keeps saying she wants to look like mommy is so adorable and proves that representation MATTERS and is important.
Their reaction to her haircut tho 😭😭😭 lol ! So cute. I’m always so shocked on how advanced the little ones are in comprehension and expression of emotions. I def get her tho, it’s sum about having your hair cut off (😂voluntarily)that makes you feel so empowered and beautiful after years of battling with my real hair I finally just accepted it, started to play with it. And I absolutely feel at my best when my Afro is out, or when I cut it off. Love this for her 🫶🏾.
Amaya is growing into a beautiful young girl. All the kids are so beautiful. I think you and your husband Joe does such a great job raising them. God Bless. Grace North Carolina 🇺🇸
I wasn’t sure how someone could have so many and successfully parent them all, you have and it was quite beautiful to watch. I am still learning not to project my own internal fears and assume their others. Congratulations on baby 8
Beautiful, loving family. If anyone should have a lot of kids it’s you guys. Your patients and how you make each child feel special is what family is all about. May God continue to bless you both and your growing family❤
You're so good with your children. If every child was loved and cared for like you and your husband care for your beautiful family, this would be a better world!
I love how you handled her cutting her hair. When I was 6 my brother and I were playing barbershop. I shaved my brother with a butter knife and soap. He gave me a hair cut. He cut my top braid of about 7 inches off. I didn't know he was really going to cut my hair. Mom was livid. We both got a spanking. When I was 9 I cut my bangs really, really short. I did this because I didn't like the hair in my eyes (or at least that's what I told mom). Needless to say I got another spanking. I guess I never cared for long hair because I just shaved all my hair off two nights ago. Wish I could share a picture. ☺
Dang when I was 6 and my cousin was 4 we were at my house and we were playing hair salon and I cut his hair even tho his hair was very short so nobody noticed and then I cut my hair not thinking much of it so I come downstairs and show my mom my new haircut and she got mad and whooped me. But at least my cousins mom didn't get mad because she said she liked his new haircut since she couldn't tell the difference lol 😭
I remember I didn’t want to get colored braids when I was younger and my dad made me cut my hair it was past my shoulder it made me feel so sad and I started to not like my hair after that because he wanted me to get while colored braids and I did not want to, it made think that white hair was better so I grew an unhealthy relationship with my hair I always wanted to hide it. I’m happy to see that you support your children and let them feel free to express themselves with their hair through beads, braids, wearing it out and even cutting it off.☺️ touched my heart ! So precious.
Why Am I teary-eyed!😭 Thank you Alana & Joe!! I love your reaction to Baby's haircut. She's an adorable personality she has. Reminds me of my 19 year old at her age. Its refreshing to see, more parents choose gentle (councious) parenting vs the old ways. Good for her self esteem! She looks absolutely beautiful. Happy Easter to you all. Blessings in abundance. ❤❤❤
I love how you both love and support the children and their choices to experiment with their looks, this solid foundation does wonders for self-esteem and also helps individuals learn who they are and what they like. You're doing such a phenomenal job with all the children and it's especially incredible to hear their vocabulary, from a young age you speak to them in a normal voice and language, and they're so articulate and able to communicate their thoughts and feelings much better than their peers and some adults. Excellent job Joe and Alena!!!
Girl, you and Joe are the best. I need you to be my momma. I just love your free spirit. You're raising some fabulous kids. Rock on, you guys are the bomb. Love love you all. 😊😍
I smiled the WHOLE way through this video. Letting baby be her our individual and not holding her back from what she KNOWS she wants is so empowering for her. Not forcing her to question herself and going with the flow was everything i needed as a little girl. So Amazing to see!!!!
Living for Baby’s hair moment specifically “it’s like mommy’s don’t touch “lol and Alena’s hysterical singing moments of each child cut to Amaya saying “ok!” To let me sing u a song 🤣sooo delightful into full monotone regret at the song choice. 💜💜love y’all 👩🏾🦱
Its literally just hair and she wanted it cut. People pierce their babies ears and watch them cry but no one outrage, yet her cutting her daughters hair with her consent is bad/mean? Make it make sense. Love you Mazelee, keep walking with God ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I love Ajaiu’s new hairdo! Girls keep being so healthy, 우리YoungWon too ! Respect for Alena who’s doing jumping jacks and push-ups while pregnant, incredible 🤩 💪

You handled baby cutting her hair so beautifully. When my daughter did that years ago, I cried and it didn’t faze her at all. I could have saved all my little feelings because she was fine. You’re an amazing mom!!
I love how instead of getting upset with her u let her choose what she wanted . Ur a great mother and I love how ur raising ur children. Some parents would get mad and yell at the child but it’s just hair it will grow back. Wow I didn't know that she named herself. That is remarkable!
I didn't see that episode.
Little girls always always wanna look like their mothers bc that’s they’re reference of beauty ❤️Feels like yesterday when Akyli decided to cut her hair
I admire you and the parents you are to your children. Watching you and your family are truly a blessing!
I just don't know but they motivate me sooo much.... I really look up to you all..
I love their wholesome little family and how they interact with each child. 💘 😻 💜 😻 💜 💛 🥰 💘 😻 💜 💛
That bike ride was epic. Especially Joe with the side cart with the girls in it. I Love It💜
Baby got her own thing goins on and I just love it. Her personality is so genuine.
Baby is the feistiest one in the family! Love her strong will!!
God Bless.

I would want joe to do more with the kids besides steading around.
@@joydixon3440 Joe does a lot with his children he helps with their hair spend time with them
The hair, the outfits, they all look so beautiful. Baby is Alena's mini me, she is so adorable.
She looks so pretty with her new hair style.
May God bless you to have a safe delivery
5:43 she passes the food to her sibling before eating herself with such beautiful manners!
You're so good with your children. If every child was loved and cared for like you and your husband care for your beautiful family, this would be a better world!
Beautiful family and your baby girl is still adorable without her hair, that will grow back.
Awe I love that you embraced her decision to cut her hair like yours. That’s was so sweet
Alena always has the best attitude I would love to be her kid lol and Joe's calm demeanor is the perfect balance like yin and yang ☯
Can’t wait for the birth and gender reveal video!!! Alana is 39 weeks pregnant!!!
same, it will come soon😆
dang already??
Already?? Damn time flies
39 weeks no way … she just announced !!! I’m loosing it 😂
she looks so cute 🥰🥰🥰 she has a beautiful shaped head
So thinking about doing this myself. Did it when I turned 18. Thinking about doing it for my 30th lol
Wish we could see your new cut. Are you on Facebook?
Lol
Dang when I was 6 and my cousin was 4 we were at my house and we were playing hair salon and I cut his hair even tho his hair was very short so nobody noticed and then I cut my hair not thinking much of it so I come downstairs and show my mom my new haircut and she got mad and whooped me. But at least my cousins mom didn't get mad because she said she liked his new haircut since she couldn't tell the difference lol 😭
😂😂😂 you knew who you was from the very beginning
Seeing the way the family embraced Baby’s decision brought tears to my eyes. Such a beautiful and supportive family God is truly with them.🙌🏾
I remember I didn’t want to get colored braids when I was younger and my dad made me cut my hair it was past my shoulder it made me feel so sad and I started to not like my hair after that because he wanted me to get while colored braids and I did not want to, it made think that white hair was better so I grew an unhealthy relationship with my hair I always wanted to hide it.
Joe and Elena you guys are truly blessed and I thank you for sharing your family and life 🙏🏽❤
Girl, you and Joe are the best. I need you to be my momma. I just love your free spirit. You're raising some fabulous kids. Rock on, you guys are the bomb. Love love you all. 😊😍
I just ❤️ this family! You’ll are the best parents ever! Wish all children could have as much joy in their homes as yours do.🙏🏻
I smiled the WHOLE way through this video. Letting baby be her our individual and not holding her back from what she KNOWS she wants is so empowering for her. Not forcing her to question herself and going with the flow was everything i needed as a little girl. So Amazing to see!!!!
Baby looks like mommy, even without her hair cut 😊♥️🙏🏾
Such a good point and the people who pierce their babies ears will be like it’s cultural as an excuse.
Some babies hair don’t even grow at her age. It literally looks normal she looks adorable like a baby doll 🥰🖤
And all the baby wanted was to look like her Mommy and you could see she was so happy
they will cry for like 1 minute
@@jasminemoon9965 the babies arent even in pain tho. If you get it done perfetionally. They dont cry for long either. Ill always be grateful for my mom pericing my ears. Also after fuve minutes the bay will probably forget
I really admire you Alena and your husband. Your family is wonderful, may your baby come with good health. A hug from Brazil 🌹🌹🌹🇧🇷
7:33 I love the freedom you give you children. Yet you set reasonable boundaries at the same time
Every single one of y’alls kids are gorgeous! Amayah is absolutely stunning in that yellow. She’s beautiful in any color, but yellow is definitely her color. My oldest daughter has a gorgeous dark complexion like hers and she also looks amazing in yellow. 💕
Such a loving and wonderful Christian family. I always get the feels from your videos thank you for sharing your lives with us!
Wow they r Christian??? Am so Happy I am also Christian from Ethiopia 🇪🇹
Alena gets best response ever from a Mom after daughter cuts her hair off - 'It's so cute!' I love that response. How can you be upset with that baby wanting to look like her Mommy.❤
Mazelee, your family is beautiful. 💜 I love the love and happiness you all share. It just warms my heart 🥰 Thanks for sharing 💜💜💜
I love the closeness..I adore these family...I salute you both Mom and Dad🥰🥰
I love Ajaiu’s new hairdo! Girls keep being so healthy, 우리YoungWon too ! Respect for Alena who’s doing jumping jacks and push-ups while pregnant, incredible 🤩 💪
I love see a functional family who enjoy their kids. Keep up the loving inviroment in your home and outside events.
I loved you reaction to her cutting her hair. Her imagination will go so far from that one moment. Typically you get disciplined for cutting your hair. I love this. Thank you
If more parents were like you guys, the world would be a much better place. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
No we don't we some to say no baby gurl not yet
Love love love how nurturing you are with all the children. Such a blessed family.
I have to admit with my daughter cut her hair I was upset but I had to remember it was just hair it grows back. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I LOVE the way you handled this. So positive. All the confidence building & positive reinforcement from the whole family is beautiful. ❤
