    One of the best entertainers on UA-cam. They should have you on Netflix or something even though I don’t have Netflix. Thank you for being yourself and being so without any pretentiousness. I absolutely love it!!!!

    Thank you for the rose prune. My sister has just moved to a house where the garden has been neglected for a number of years. I have been asked to prune the roses. I shall do so with confidence now 😂😂

    Down to earth as usual John, well done. I need advice on how to tidy an Angel Fishing Rod (Diarama) Can I cut it down to about 12 inches now as its so raggy at base. Thanks in anticipation.

    John, you were just savage with those rose's! Now I know I (probably) won't kill mine because they are out of control and need a hard pruning. Mine are Knock Out and are known for their hardiness. Blessings from Georgia USA, zone 8a.

    Can you keep them in a densely planted border, also with the intention of growing slower, not getting as big? Theory says no but ive heard the opposite too

    What is worse than pruning a thorny plant? Weeding under a thorny rose. That is why gardeners hate weeds and thorny plants.

    John Lord, or, friends of John/fellow gardeners. Need a recommendation for a tree, not too large, clay area that tends to get wet, but does dry out..and there is lots of wind at times, zone 6b, Shenandoah Valley, Virginia.

      They have a very long growing season in Ireland, which makes possible many things that would never work in the US Midwest.
