This video shows my first ever experience using a Denman Brush for my Wash Define and Go styling - I found it made styling much quicker and easier than I thought and really gave unique definition to my curls!

I have a 3c/4a hair type so it's kinky and curly. But I find the best way to define my hair is to add eco styler gel and sometimes I go in with the Denman brush to define it even more.
You're the first person I've seen on here who literally has the same type of hair as me! Expect my hair is a little shorter. I'm starting my natural journey again this weekend I can't wait! Thank you for sharing xzz

Very nice results. Agreed the brush does wonders for the ends not from root to midway.
If you use eco styler you will get definition from root to tip but the shrinkage will be epic

Love it. I love my denman brush. It makes my styling on wash day so easy. I have not ever used it for a wash and go.. but I think. I'll try it the next time.
Beautiful results, try it with gel you will be blown away. Be careful it can easily rip your strands off

I found the brush just ripped my hair. I get similar results when I just add gel and shake on my type 4b hair
It didn't rip my hair at all because the products I used had a lot of slip to them but I realise it doesn't work for everyone. I can't do the shaking my head thing though! Hurts my head too much! x

I just started using the brush and it leaves perfect definition...I been through 3 big chops...I didn't use the brush at first and broke several combs.

I like how u didnt use gel because the shrinkage and crunch is terrible. I love the curly afro !! I cant wait to try this.
Hi, gel is useful because it has great hold but you can use curling creams that have more of a moisturising effect.

Thank you! I believe I got them from a small company called SuperFunkyMe - they are no longer in business (they sold up and went travelling as a family) but I think there are some other small businesses that make similar ones. 🙂
