"The Prophets could not stop us. Cortana could not stop us. YOU WILL NOT STOP US." I love that line so much, especially when Escharum is running at you with the Diminisher of Hope and when the part at 42:00 kicks in. God Escharum is such a great antagonist!
I love Escharum as well but… he was only introduced in one game.
Atriox is the real villain coz he is the actual leader of the Banished, and was introduced in another game, Halo Wars 2.

I'll remember Bassus' theme not because of Bassus, but because of the Hunters on the 2nd floor of the House of Reckoning.
I like how Jega's fight didn't really have a theme like most of the other bosses, it was just ambient horror.

Indeed but when he said it and how he said it with the music ambience growing harder and harder it just made me feel sad too, it was truly an indescribable moment to me when I first heard it, both the speech and the music combined together
The Banished could very well end up being even more threatening than the covenant. They’ve already shown us their capabilities. And they’re just getting started.

I actually felt bad when escharum died because chief was right he was a soldier doing what he thought was right and he made sure to make his death count at the end for what he believed in

The amount of times I heard this after being killed by the hunter pair.
No doubt that it was the best level
If the game had my legendary difficulty I would add real hopelessness when echarum says the next fight will devoit of all hope. Basically I'd add the 2 officer hunters with the jackals and skirmishes but I'd also add elites of all ranks, 1 zealot a few ultras and even spec ops elites, 2 chieftains. One ultra chieftain with a hammer and a red chieftain with the scrap cannon and also having 2 regular hunters. This would truly make this fight absolutely insane and difficult beyond understanding
Can always try doing it with Mythic and Famine on, at least Mythic.

Sounds like a real challenge. Most players would not be able to accomplish that and probably wouldn't keep trying. I mean, Halo 2 was the favorite in the series for many,many players, but it's legendary mode just tended to aggrivate people.
