The MH653 tragedy: Shocking plane hijack case that killed 100

A seemingly normal domestic flight in Malaysia in 1977 took a dark turn when both pilots got shot by an unknown hijacker, resulting in the aircraft crashing down into a swamp, killing all 100 people on board.
With the hijacker himself perishing in the crash, his identity and motives remain a mystery to this day. Only a monument erected in Johor Bahru in memory of the deceased now stands witness to the tragedy.
