When this song played in the finale it broke my heart because the same song played when they first met, the story came full circle, amazing show, amazing ost. Ty for uploading
So did I. From the first minute to the second, it shifts from blue to red. For this anime, if I watch past episode four, I have to watch it all. It just seems like episode four can be the end, but every episode afterward has a cliffhanger. Rewatching soon, but with a friend.
I keep going back and forth from the episode 1 version of this song to the last episode version, and the last episode version is so much heavier. My heart sinks just listening to it. Episode 1’s is just a bit more cheerful and happy.
One of the very rare anime’s that actually builds an emotional black hole in your heart… they didn’t do us justice and added this song to the final scene… I couldn’t keep a straight face luckily I didn’t cry, but there’s a hole in my mind 💀💀 9/10 or even 10/10 anime. Those fairies were adorable
Although, I am emotionally disabled, I feel a pit in the back of my throat, which that I want to cry, but I can’t because of a personal problem. Those who did cry when watching the anime, I have pity for those who can since I can’t.
I loved the anime so much, I bought the light novel. I would have bought the manga too, but my mom says I'm too old and shouldn't be wasting my time reading comic books.
@@derbe8647 Let's just say the opening scene of the first episode is one of the final scenes in the last episode. It you don't want to risk it, episode four or five is a good place to stop to avoid the sadness. You can watch up until episode eight or nine, but some things won't make sense, and you'll end up watching till the end anyways. But yes, it does get very sad. However, strangely fulfilling.
Only three anime endings make cry no matter how many times I watch them. Assassination Classroom, Angel Beats, and this one. ... Though, this one hit me so hard, I've only seen it once. But the music still punches.
@@Fxyoprobably3 Oh shoot. I started re-watching last night. I forgot the first scene is from the last episode. I got to watch till the end of episode seven. I was tearing up almost every episode. Is it too soon? ... I was looking up memes for WorldEnd (I have to say SukaSuka for Google). The one I thought would be the most popular (the one that goes, first time watching, stone face, second time watching with opening scene, tears so hard one can refill the oceans) was not. I never even found it. I didn't really find any good memes except for that History channel guy going, "leprechaun lollies." That one made me laugh.
@@Fxyoprobably3 I looked up a list of saddest animes and was upset because WorldEnd wasn't on any of them. Wish the show was more popular so we could all cry together.
Well shit, I expected it and yet it was so much worse then I imagined. It got me in a way that no other show, save for Violet evergarden, has been able to get me. What a depressing ending bros.
I wish more animes would lean towards this style of romance with their characters. I get so tired of harem shows. I think the meaningful couples are better to watch. Chtholly and Willem now rank pretty high on my favorite anime pairs.
if you havent, you can try watching: Clannad (even though the source visual novel has routes of different heroines, the anime series is focused on the main one) (first season is about school romcom, second season about after graduation, life of a couple taking care for a child + a pinch of time leaping phenomenon)(personally highly recommend) Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside (loyal to one heroine and acts like a normal couple even in a fantasy world setting... none of the unnecessary super dense bs) Plastic Memories (about a human and a limited-time-left humanoid-robot) (personally highly recommend) Beyond the Boundary (supernatural on earth setting) (personally highly recommend) Tsuki ga Kirei (what i find the closest to possible couple development in irl, high school sweetheart to long-distance to marriage) (personally highly recommend) Angel Beats (pretty cry-able if you allow yourself to get emotional) Horimiya (school romcom) Toradora (school romcom) (the classic) Josee, The Tiger, and The Fish (a movie) Snow White with Red Hair Guilty Crown (decent anime but absolutely gorgeous OP/ED music) Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru (school romcom)
@@extricated_existence I've seen many except for a few of these shows on your list I think they are great. I really enjoy Clannad and Angel Beats. I just watched Horimiya per your recommendation. It was really good, thank you for sharing it with me.

A nice take on an old Yorkshire ballad. It was just disappointing to hear her say Scarboro rather than Scarborough (Scar-burrah). You can always tell when it isn't a native speaker. Obviously, it is likely because it is based the Simon & Garfunkel version.
