Currently pregnant with twins (one boy, one girl) and this makes me soo incredibly excited for my girl 🥰 you did a great job. I actually used the Shea Moisture Kids Braiding Jam to attempt my 1 yr old baby boy’s first braids & it was great to help with neatness, not too heavy, and no toxic chemicals.
She looks soooo pretty! You did good over hand braiding. I can’t get my fingers to coordinate. Plus, once her show got to going, she sat still like a champ. Both of you for the win 🏆
This is so nostalgic. She is such a big girl! For knotless, I personally like doing overhand while keeping my hands at the base (helps me to maintain control) & then switching to underhand for the twist. You did well Ebony & Lennox sealed it with the lil hair shake at the end. 🤭🫶🏾
I cannot believe you put a relaxer over hair like that Ebony (I remember your relaxer days). Lme: Of course seeing Lennie’s hair puts into perspective how your hair was as a child. Did your mom introduce your hair to a relaxer or was it that thing that some of us did as teenagers to ourselves. Personally, my mom introduced chemicals to my hair young. So it wasn’t until I was extra grown when I was introduced to my lovely texture. Then of course, I was immediately confused. Why cover that up with chemicals? When we know better, we do better.
My goodness babygirl's hair is really growing! So cute ☺️💙
