Yes he is very knowledgeable when it comes to cinema...probably the most knowledgeable actor in India of world cinema and political Indian cinema as well but he is not well versed yet in politics and now he wants to rule TN. The debate with Smriti Irani comes to mind.

Indian audience don't deserve kamal sir. His passion towards cinema and unmatchable brain work still no one has born in our country. Kamal is so generous to welcome new talents but There will be one legend perfectionist, 300% effort & detailing and his name is "Kamalhaasan"
*KAMAL HAASAN* The sheer gravity this name carries will stand unmatched in years to come even decades maybe. The way it ended, (" But I Have Work To Do, You Will Have To Excuse Me") , bloody epic, a better ending could not have been scripted.

Well his work(in/on film) is an illustration of himself and he doesn't need leading questions, but some do and here's where an interviewer try to facilitate him/her.

During the interview kamal said he realised that he was satisfied with other's performance. For that BR seeked clarification on his statement. But kamal diverted the conversation and failed to give clarification on his intelligent statement
Indian cine audience do not deserve Mr. Kamal Hassan. I wish he gets to make the kind of movies he had envisioned and hopefully there will be SENSIBLE audience to to watch them in his next life.

During the interview, Kamil talks about his political interest in the movie at Devar Magan. But to my knowledge, his calling for politics was laid much earlier in Balachandar movie "Unnal Mudiyum Thambi" . He beautifully portrayed as a young man who works for the upliftment of the communities resisting his father's choice to make him a singer. He is a legend and we are proud that we lived during his time.

no matter how adamantly we ignore the fact, english is a medium for international communication.. hence having the knowledge of english language, it is a skill that has its advantage as compared to not knowing it.. Our love for tamizh should always be a priority, nevertheless, we should also embrace other languages as skills than to refute it as unnecessary or of no use/value..
