Zoom MS75CDR is also quite a good multifx the size of a boss pedal. Full to the brim wuth reverbs, delays and chorus [plus other goodies]. You can have 6 fxs running at the same time [dependant on DSP size] and is stereo. The Update gives more fxs for free too.
Did you mean the MS70CDR? I have one of those and, yep, it's a little powerhouse! Also, not very expensive AND runs off AA batteries which is great when you're touring.

I have a Big Sky and, truthfully, the Mooer doesn't match it in terms of reverb density or... errmm... beauty of reverb? However, it comes close, also has TWO delays and is wonderfully silly. Obviously, the dream team would be all three but i don't want to sell a kidney just to make swirly sounds. :-)
Ha! You would need three kidneys for that plan to become reality! ;) Honestly, I was thinking of adding the Neunaber Immerse for the shimmery stuff. The Ocean Machine plus Immerse together would still be (slightly) cheaper than the Big Sky by itself.
It sounds really nice, doesn't it. Btw. I've decided to return my OM. I've been testing it this weekend and I really like the 'knobby' interface but in the end the shimmer and such are not really 'etherial', like you mentioned. I'm currently testing a Boss pedal combo, the RV-500 and DD-500. These actually contain the same chips that Roland uses for most of their current synth gear! So far I really like these, sound and user interface wise. Both can run two patches at the same time and you can either opt for menu diving or not. Paid €635 for the pair. A Big Sky and Timeline (or Space and TimeFactor) would cost almost €1000. The Bosses have a very nice interface superior to the Eventide and Strymons while being as capable imho. Anyhow, thanks for being a factor in my quest for reverb and delay for my synths. :)

Yes, you can have all the paths you mentioned plus you can have either the delays or reverb and delay side by side. Tons of options in this thing. You can also move the looper around in the chain for different functionality based on its placement.
Seems like a bit of a bargain compared to strymon stuff. Instead of £800 on a timeline and big sky you could get this to cover both for £200. Can it be as lush and dreamy without getting metallic? Seems like you don't need menus which is awesome too. Very creative if you want it to be too

Ahhh, well from the synth, I had a 3.5mm headphone to 2 x 6.3mm jacks which I plugged into the stereo inputs. And then, two guitar cables to my sound recording device.
Great piece of gear and it's presentation. I know it has stereo input, is it able to split effects by input channels? For example, for the left input only reverb and for the right input only delay?? Cheers
Wellll... I haven't used the looper much as it's not my thing, a dedicated machine will always be better in that area. But the effects on here easily equal other Boss effects I've tried. I would say: get a hands-on demo yourself if that's at all possible. I think effects units preferences are, very, very idiosyncratic. It's a Marmite thing!

There is some controversy regarding the stereo implementation of the OM. Google: "Ocean Machine" "not stereo"
