My only regret is not being able to hear what FSP was saying the whole time!😁
Just found this video. As a intermediate Tekken player, at eternal ruler and play multiple characters at an ok level. You have no idea how many times I've gotten wrecked by this type of play by someone in green to yellow ranks lol. Absolutely love how he was having fun throughout the whole set
CoreAGaming shows that you don't need FADC combos or any difficult techniques to show you are good player. Having a strong basis of fundamentals and being tilt-proof are the ones that will make you a better player.
I should be watching SFV high level play videos, some guides and strategies to become a better player. Why do I always come back to this video instead?
ROTFL!!! That was Epic! Congrats to Gandhi! Exposing players that there are not just pro players out there, and need to remember fundamentals! That made my week!
Gandhi is fool proof he had nothing to lose reguard of his play style. Kinda just proofs strats don't mean anything if u can't deal with the most basic practical things. FSP, Gandhi did nothing wrong u should of shaked his hand.
I recently fought FSP. I never knew him outside of the Gandhi debacle, but before our match I shook his hand and said that I 'love his videos' (Just wanted him to feel notable and I respected him). He looked mournfully at his fight-stick and said: ''Yeah.. Some videos are more popular than others.'' I honestly think he just had a bad day. I beat him, but he didn't make it easy. FSP is a solid player.
Aw that made me a little sad. Everyone loses to a mashing scrub once in a while, just looked for PR Balrog's ''When everything goes wrong kappa'' to see what I mean. The only notable thing this video has is that it was live instead of some random online match.
Seriously man, respect to Ghandi, the dude was having a blast. I know the dude didn't really "belong" in a high-skill tourny, but he still won. Dude deserved props.
I remember reading a thread on SRK about how people who are "random" or play really scrubby sometimes win against players who think because the player who thinks is trying to outsmart the random scrub but the scrub has no thought process. It's impossible to out think someone who doesn't think. This video is a perfect example of that thread.
The dude was on some hardcore tilt, he wasn't doing ANYTHING. This is FAR more about FSP's inability to handle any pressure whatsoever, to the point where he loses.
that's a retarded argument. why didn't he just adapt after the first 20 seconds? because he is not good enough to do that. My hat's off to Gandhi to win on stream.
secdeal A counter argument would be that to be able to adapt to something, you need a rhythm to adapt to. This match is akin to if you're boxing someone - instead of them doing a jab combination, they do a jab, bend over, and show their asshole. How do you even fight against that? Gandhi had zero rhythm, he was just pressing buttons and had no thought process in what he was going to do next. It's very difficult to adapt to that if you lose your cool, which FSP did. Yes, FSP went on full-tilt and should have just let Gandhi hang himself, but if you go to Dreamhack or EVO, you expect your opponents to at least be decent and not some button masher. I do give props to Gandhi, this match is utterly hilarious and the commentators made it a million times better.
MagnetiX He has plenty of patterns that were easy to exploit, aka a 'rhythm'. He almost always did jump in to sweep or dp, both punishable. Then jump back, fireball right away 90% of the time. FSP just reminds me of that certain caliber of lower-level players who go around throwing all these buzzwords, talk about option selects and frame data and then can't do simple fundamentals like anti-air or adjust (in this case, dumb down) their game plan to fit the player. I'm just going off this based on his hilariously salty reactions, as if he's 'too good' to fall for the shit he is falling for lol. Thank you, based Gandhi, for the harsh lesson.
Insane dummy by Gandhi at 4:47 whiff fast recovery normal on jump in to empty jump, low into DP. Flawless strategy, he knew FSP was close to mentally broken so he went for the knock-out.
If you can't beat random playing beginners, you need to work on your fundamentals. FSP was going for links on a guy that was mashing while getting attacked, and OS'ing tech throws, and he wasn't looking for anti airs. Could've won this easily if he wasn't so worried about getting clowned on and forcing the issue. Funny stuff. Gandhi vs. Jyobin FT1 would be awesome to see.
No,there is no need to work on your fundamentals. When I meet players like Gandhi on-line and fight against them, after about 20-30 sec. of 1st round I became uninterest(or I got bored out) in this match and play random just because there is no way to play smart against them.
EternalBlasphemy You're kidding right? All you have to do is be patient, respect the random player, and let them dig themselves in a hole with pointless jumps and bad reversals. It's not hard.
smfisch You can't respect them because they do not know what they will do next second. You can't even jump on them. Plus, when you think like OK,HE WILL NOT DO THIS SHIT,usually he does.(braindead as fuck)
When Ghandi "switched up his game" towards the end (a.k.a went for a throw), I think that was the most terrifying mindgame of the whole tournament.

@@marzipancutter8144 no mix up up mix up is fucking op asf. You are literally trained to expect a mix up.
I demand more videos of Ghandi.
That guy is my new favorite pro player.
"when nothing remains, everything is equally possible" - this guy, nodding sagely
I'm sorry, but so many years later this is still my favorite SF vid. It still gives me a good chuckle.
Seven years later and this still cracks me up lol.
"Oh, he beats the dive kick with a crouching light punch..."
Logan predicting SFV
I almost cried laughing at the commentators trying to not show any emotions after he lost LMFAO
OMG, I just can't stop watching this!!!😆 I mean, Gandhi *is* using a consistent strategy, and also he knows the basic paper-rock-scissors of basic attacks! He knows people are usually using fierce/roundhouse attacks exclusively... Never forget the fundamentals of Street Fighter™!
My only regret is not being able to hear what FSP was saying the whole time!😁
Godlike Ryu, now i know why everybody wanted to see him against Daigo .. damnn! Those combos
at first i read this im like ok let me see some combos..than i watch and i go -.-
did ghandi and daigo played?
@@iKiLLyUe did you not see the combos or something?
Just found this video. As a intermediate Tekken player, at eternal ruler and play multiple characters at an ok level. You have no idea how many times I've gotten wrecked by this type of play by someone in green to yellow ranks lol. Absolutely love how he was having fun throughout the whole set
Green and especially yellow ranks do not play like this in my experience. This is common of like 8th dan players.
This is the match that retired FSP from SF4... HAHAHAHA
CoreAGaming shows that you don't need FADC combos or any difficult techniques to show you are good player. Having a strong basis of fundamentals and being tilt-proof are the ones that will make you a better player.
I wonder, is FSP DSP's European cousin? lol
WOW...
Almost a decade later and this is still the most legendary sf4 set ever played
Most Ryu thing ever.
No flash, all fundamentals.
This guy is Ryu at the start of the journey.
This is real Street Fighter.
I should be watching SFV high level play videos, some guides and strategies to become a better player. Why do I always come back to this video instead?
I'd be happy to play with you, if you're keen?
My CFN name is lord_gandhi
Jake Radcliffe can I add you?
Because this video showcases the most high level street fighter gameplay you will ever see
ROTFL!!! That was Epic!
Congrats to Gandhi!
Exposing players that there are not just pro players out there,
and need to remember fundamentals!
That made my week!
Thank you Ghandi! Thank you so much! That was hilarious and entertaining. The black guy was hilarious too man.
Moral of the story; mashing DP works...most of the time.
TIME TO MAIN KEN.
Gandhi is fool proof he had nothing to lose reguard of his play style.
Kinda just proofs strats don't mean anything if u can't deal with the most basic practical things.
FSP, Gandhi did nothing wrong u should of shaked his hand.
5:29 the whole game was a mindgame to make this moment happen.
You would think this would get old after a couple of years, but no it just gets better ^_^
"YOU CAN'T KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO DO IF _I_ DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO DO"
I recently fought FSP.
'Yeah.. Some videos are more popular than others.'' hahaha yeah, and we know exactly which one he had in mind when he said that xD
Aw that made me a little sad. Everyone loses to a mashing scrub once in a while, just looked for PR Balrog's ''When everything goes wrong kappa'' to see what I mean. The only notable thing this video has is that it was live instead of some random online match.
My favourite part of this clip is FSP’s facial expressions cause you can just see the frustration on his face
This video encompasses what makes fighting games so great
Seriously man, respect to Ghandi, the dude was having a blast. I know the dude didn't really "belong" in a high-skill tourny, but he still won. Dude deserved props.
Anyone here after watching Excellent Adventures with F Word?
Yup
Kamran Tahir yessir
Kamran Tahir yep
Re-watching since it has been so long but yeah...
So funny.
This is every bronze match I played in season 1. It really is hilarious
Shoutouts to NeoGaf players
You can see a little bit of FSP's soul leave his body each time he eats the hadoken
This is actually really educational when trying to get new people into fighting games.
why?
@@mrosskne Because it shows that fancy stuff doesn't matter if you suck at the basics, and basic stuff can still win even at a high level.
Whenever Im Feeling down, I watch this video to bring a smile to my face
Recommended video from this one:
*Analysis: Taunting and Mind Games*
...Fair.
I always get hyped whenever ghandi lands his crazy shenanigans. XD
3:31 = BEST MOMENT
I remember reading a thread on SRK about how people who are "random" or play really scrubby sometimes win against players who think because the player who thinks is trying to outsmart the random scrub but the scrub has no thought process. It's impossible to out think someone who doesn't think.
This video is a perfect example of that thread.
The dude was on some hardcore tilt, he wasn't doing ANYTHING. This is FAR more about FSP's inability to handle any pressure whatsoever, to the point where he loses.
You cannot out-think one who does not think.
that's a retarded argument. why didn't he just adapt after the first 20 seconds? because he is not good enough to do that.
MagnetiX
He has plenty of patterns that were easy to exploit, aka a 'rhythm'.
Thank you, based Gandhi, for the harsh lesson.
still the greatest sf4 match. i watched this so many times throughout the years
Insane dummy by Gandhi at 4:47 whiff fast recovery normal on jump in to empty jump, low into DP. Flawless strategy, he knew FSP was close to mentally broken so he went for the knock-out.
5:29 Untechable. There was no escape from this throw.
Seeing the commentators sulk in their elitism towards Gandhi was such an icing on the cake. This never gets old
If you can't beat random playing beginners, you need to work on your fundamentals.
EternalBlasphemy He wasn't random. He jumped in, and mashed SRK. Those are completely punishable. Very punishable.
lel, gandhi doesn't know about crouch tech/
EternalBlasphemy
You're kidding right? All you have to do is be patient, respect the random player, and let them dig themselves in a hole with pointless jumps and bad reversals. It's not hard.
smfisch
You can't respect them because they do not know what they will do next second. You can't even jump on them.
Plus, when you think like OK,HE WILL NOT DO THIS SHIT,usually he does.(braindead as fuck)
Gandhi vs DSP first to 10. PLEASE!
lol dsp would have a heartattack
Reese Labbe on an offline match
F-Word makes this even better, which is hard enough to do
Back again. I’m now convinced this was some big brain tech
