Inspiration, This video is two years old I enjoyed every minute. I am learning by watching your videos I have recently taken up flower arrangement as a hobby. Silk flowers are my preferrence the elements and principle are the same I guess.

Leanne this is James I want to ask you a question I am a elderly retire crippled basically by neuropathy diabetes that's not my question is do you know of any place that I can do it online possibly 4 to get my certification in Floral I've done floral for almost 40-something years in shops out of shops on my own Christmas sympathy weddings all kinds of things on my income which is a fixed-income I cannot afford going to a school do you know of anything or anyway or anyhow I could get certified I've always wanted to do this can you give me any suggestions

I worked in the shop that yes we did balloons hated them even though I Love Balloons I think they're great for someone else not me I do love carnations I have to admit I think the fragrance is wonderful I'm kind of a mix I like all of it course I like designer choice I like events and I like art oh my what am I lol
You are many things, James, and that's just fine! Your signature look and style can evolve over time too. Balloons work for some people and not for others. We love carnations too because they are such a useful and durable flower for floral design, they come in a wide variety of colors, and they look so lovely too. Event one is beautiful, so was first retail one, but love the lamp stand. Nearly a year old this video but I am learning new things. Our garden club has From Bush or Forest floral arrangement for next competition and I have decided to do bush and wrap a piece of relish bark around vase. Seeing the dried grass shows how I can anchor it. I might use some big bright buttons to get that effect on your last one. Thanks Leanne. I would sit a small colourful porcelain bird into that last one. I need a bit more colour. Love the wavy grass.

That's a good point, Bernadette! Ideally you could, but as Leanne mentioned yesterday, you don't want to spread yourself too thin because then nothing gets your full attention and efforts. Focus really helps you be successful in floral design and when you are clear about what you do, you can convey that to your customers. Love that you save and use unusual containers and interpret them in themes. Such a great contribution for event planners. Adds to our portfolio of eclectic elements to use for events and weddings. Ex: your arrangement would be great on a Wedding seating card table or guest book singing in table. Can't wait now to go antique and thrift shopping for off the wall items for more display work.
