People with curly hair usually have thin hair. That is what allows it to curl. If you thick hair and try to curl it you will see that it doesn't last very long or hold. That's why when you straighten curly hair it looks a lot thinner. The more you know 😂😂😂

I have slightly wavy hair and usually if I straighten my hair i only ever do it to parts that are going out from where i want them, but usually i dont go full out cause i know that itll go back to wavy by mid day.

Hey girl! I have the same type of hair but one good advice because I went to school for hair and stuff, it's to blow dry your hair in small sections because it's not good for your hair to be that Huge when you straighten it; it needs to be much more flat and come slowly through each section :) but other than that your hair is beautiful! 😍

You're hair texture is the same as mine its just a little shorter (I always have to cut it) but I find it hard to keep it hydrated and I've gone through so many products kind of starting to give up on my hair. Do you have any tips on keeping my hair hydrated? Also do you have any tips on growing out my hair ?
I don't have the same hair texture at all but I think I might have some advice. You should use a shampoo that does not have any sulfate and do NOT use conditioner in the shower, use a leave in conditioner instead Also, it's best to use natural shampoos. Costco has a 100% vegan/ sulfate free shampoo. I had a college Roomate with This hair texture and she used that shampoo and hair conditioner. It's the Kirkland brand in a huge purple bottle. Hope this helps :)
Maybe Pink Lotion or Argan Oil? Both last very long and also strengthens your hair.

For all those people In the comments with straight hair that want curly hair. Trust me you don't at all curly hair is hard to take care of in most days it looks hideous gets tangled easily, hard to do styles with, takes a long time to straighten, having to use tons of shampoo showering takes a while, if you brush it turns frizzy, people will touch it. And if it's super thick it may give you head aches.

Ur so lucky I have natural EXTREMELY frizzy hair and I can't even comb though it. Like no joke i legit broke 7 combs. And my curls r so small that my hair poofs out and goes down to the top of my ears. But whenever I straighten it it goes to my shoulders.
And one time it was just drizzling and I forgot my coat so I when I got back home my hair wasn't straight anymore it was SO poofy and it looks like a mane
Try a denman brush or your fingers to detangle it. Make sure it's properly moisturized (not sopping wet, but not bone dry either). Wet it a little with a spray bottle to bring out your curl pattern more. Hope this helped!

Remember hair existed before combs were invented....you're using the comb invented for a different type of hair from the type you have.....use the right comb for your hair and you'll appreciate the way you were born a lot more.

My hair is like natural beach waves and even natural beach waves are really hard to control, I can't imagine how hard it is to style her hair, I also understand why she does it.
