I think this is the first time I've seen both your parents in the same video. ❤ You did an excellent job showing several kid friendly spots for parents to take their kids too. I can understand how hard that can be, especially to winery's.
Your videos are always excellent but this one was really enjoyable not only for the content but to see you with your beautiful family. Your kids are adorable!
I have two boys. You’ve inspired us to plan a trip to Napa. Your family is so fun and cool. Thanks for all the content! One day you should do a meet up with your fans lol
What a beautiful little video with your beautiful family! You are blissed to have such a loving family! Your video's are so informative & fun and uplifting! I am thankful that through your eyes I get to experience California again when I used to fly as a flight attendant! ✈💙
Thanks for the comment. We are certainly blessed to have a family that loves to be together. Glad you enjoyed the video and got to see California again.
Beautiful family trip! You guys were in my neck of the woods. I'm so glad you guys included the geyser. If you ever get back here with the kids, take a drive over to Sonoma and take the kids to Train Town. It's a fun place for families 👪
@California Through My Lens My grandparents on both sides lived there, so going to train town over the last 55 years was always a go-to spot. They also have a big park in the center of town, and the mission is right there. Also, La Casa is a great place across from the mission to get a great meal. 👍
Great video as always! I live in this area and you reminded me how fun it is to live here. Another great family friendly activity is the Petrified Forest about 5 miles west of Old Faithful in Calistoga. They have ancient redwoods and the trail is easy and shaded so nice and cool on hot days.
Wow I think this is the first video I remember with all six of you. The kids are getting so big. And it looks like Napa had something for everyone. I love oysters so will have to check out that market to get some. Best place I ever had them was in Westport WA on the way up hwy 101 to Olympic national park on the last road trip with my dad before he died. I so want to take my mom there. She is the one who taught me to love oysters. I know she’d love it. Cash only business but they have great fresh food and bbq oysters is their specialty
The whole family....always good to see your dad, but, great to see your whole family.... Often wondered what the twins looked like. Your wife and mother seem very sweet. Thank you for sharing time with everyone. You do a great job telling us what we would see. We will never make it to Cali at our age. Your mother has a great sense of humor in the other videos. Yes, mother can make fun of our kids. Tell her "hi". She seems like a person we could be friends with, just so nice. Take it easy, and can't wait to see more of them. Paul and Janie Williams, Ohio
Thank you for sharing your family memories with us! ❤ V. Sattui great choice, definitely a good spot to start 🍷, along with Gotts and Hogs Island as the iconic spots! You should go to Tomales Bay and Point Reyes next!
I saw a glimpse of Castello Di Amorosa We been taking our daughter there since she was 2 years old, the castle is very kid friendly and my daughter is 10 now and still loves the Castle
Love your trip here in Napa. From Hawaii, we've been there many times and The Model Bakery, Taylor's Refresher, V Sattui, Calistoga geyser, and Napa town, Yontville,, ALL our favorites. Great job. Aloha
Awesome, I hope you enjoy it! Be sure to go to Castello di Amorosa, which is the castle in Napa Valley. It is awesome for exploring and I always enjoy it
I lived in Saint Helena in the early 80s and worked on a mobile all-woman bottling crew. We got tipped with wine and enjoyed some great vintages! Things sure have changed since the last time I was there.
Awww so glad y'all had a lovely time in my hometown. You guys should check out the Petrified Forrest up in Calistoga the next time you are in the valley. Also the Gondolas cat Sterling when they are up and running would be fun for the family as well. Thanks for highlighting my beautiful valley, you are all always welcome:).
Great video! I’ve been following your channel for years and you always give great tips. Sonoma is way more family friendly and relaxing with kids. I recommend Imagery estate and Russian River winery. Lots of open space for the kids to play. Russian River even has happy hour with live music on certain days and serves food. Huge trees on the property provide great shade on hot days.
@1:25 V.Sattui winery in Helena is our longtime favorite as well, it has a wonderful deli (sometimes BBQ truck) and great shaded grassy area w/ picnic tables to eat w/ family... and, you do NOT have to reserve wine tasting, you can simply buy a panini or some antipasta, or bread&cheese etc, and eat! Enjoy view of vineyards to south, next to the highway, and if you are lucky, the Wine Train will chug & toot by as you eat! Pretty building and courtyard and flower gardens behind as well (sadly the giant oak in courtyard was damaged by this winter storms.) Gott's would be the other food recommendation, WOW it is always packed on wkends!! empty!?
Cool video! We were in the area around the same time and checked out the Petrified Forest and Sonoma Botanical Garden. Funny, we almost went to Old Faithful but ran out of time. Your channel is great.
Great to see your beautiful kids Josh & Amy and who knew ...Pops has a wife...awesome spending precious family time together..travel safe. BTW looking a bit bushy there Pops :) cheers from West Oz and thanks Josh
I would suggest going to or staying in Sonoma. It's far less expensive and right next door to Napa. There are plenty of stuff for kids, if not more stuff for them to do there. Within a few minutes you can drive to Napa and save bundles in your stay.
super glad you posted this video , I'm currently planning my 48hr portion of my bday tour with my daughter in tow. What was the name of that family friendly winery?
While I am your subscriber, I don’t watch watch all your videos. However, those that I do watch I enjoy very much. I have some of the things you’ve shown on my travel wish list.❤️👏👍🏼
other nice wineries maybe kids, would be Sterling on the hill in Calistoga, has a view and kids might enjoy the gondola ride... but, it was damaged during recent fires, rebuilding. Chatea Montelena just past Old Faithful has a gorgeous little lake w/ flower trees and asian pagodas on islands... adults only for tasting reservations, but you can maybe take quick walk around the lake. For hiking, and some swimming pool summer weekends, check out Bothe-Napa Valley State Park (right near the Grist Mill), some nice tails along little creek. If you want a real adventure for kids (and adults), Safari West has real African animals to see, and cabins/glamping tents you can stay overnight.. $$ but unique.
There are a lot of vineyards and wine tasting places around Traverse City, MI, but to avoid the traffic, don't visit during the National Cherry Festival in July. I can tell that your wife enjoyed this trip too. That hotel looks really nice.
Napa/Sonoma isn’t expensive z. Just ask the ones of use whom live in the area. We have two young kids. We’d be be happy to give yours some suggestions than don’t cost $45 for wine tastings. Also, swing by Old Sugar Mill and the wineries in the Lodi area. “7 Deadly Zins” is very good.
Wow $45 wine tasting at Vsattui now 😮. I guess I haven’t been to Napa for that long. I still remember it was free, then went up to $5… then $45 I guess 😅
This is very helpful. Going with our preteen. We’ll try to follow these recommendations. Thank you for this video.
Thank you for adding the children element 🙏
I think this is the first time I've seen both your parents in the same video. ❤ You did an excellent job showing several kid friendly spots for parents to take their kids too. I can understand how hard that can be, especially to winery's.
haha it was surprisingly tough to find the right spots in Napa but we had a great time there!
This is a perfect 24 hr. tour of Napa Valley for seniors who don't drink wine too. Thanks.
Your videos are always excellent but this one was really enjoyable not only for the content but to see you with your beautiful family. Your kids are adorable!
😊 thank you, really appreciate it!
and the kids are BIG now!!
Once again, elegantly done. Thank you for "taking us" to those amazing spots. Beautiful family!
Our pleasure! So glad you enjoyed it
Good to see your mom again in this video. Fine family!

I remember visiting the Napa Valley back in 1994. Visited several wineries there and found it so relaxing. Beautiful area
It really is! I wish it was a little more affordable but I love exploring Napa too
What a beautiful family

I almost fell out of my chair when I saw $14.50 for that sandwich at the winery! Wow! Lol. Thanks for sharing your family with us Josh. And hi Amy!
It’s like that everywhere. The good news is you can bring your own picnic!
Thank you for sharing your family memories with us! ❤ V. Sattui great choice, definitely a good spot to start 🍷, along with Gotts and Hogs Island as the iconic spots! You should go to Tomales Bay and Point Reyes next!
Thanks for sharing this video with me, your whole family got involved on enjoying this trip.

I second the motion, but I'm partial; class of 65 Sonoma High School
Great idea, I will have to do that next time!
Great idea for a family trip !!

Happy parents, wife, kids, delicious food, awesome places and activities.., what else you can ask about a happy life?
hi... thanks for the video....do you recommend visiting Napa Valley in the December winter time?
other nice wineries maybe kids, would be Sterling on the hill in Calistoga, has a view and kids might enjoy the gondola ride... but, it was damaged during recent fires, rebuilding.

Any chance you'll sell more apparel like sweatshirts? Just saw you have a store now!
Freaking adorable.
Love Pops...is it the best tasting English muffin you ever had? Pops
"Sure"😂
haha I thought that was funny too
i didn't know California have geyser. while i study in california i went to Yellowstone to see it. :)

Wow! ❤🇺🇸❤
From italy 👋
Glad you liked it, thanks for the comment
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I was more excited than you to see the geyser in action and it was amazing. 😅
Is this the first time mom and pops are together in a video?!
Ah, you went to the wrong valley. Sonoma County is more kid friendly, bigger and better. (Also cheaper.)
I will have to do Sonoma next time!
The 🐑 🐑 🐑 Shafer vineyard?
This was at V. Sattui but there were quite a few wineries in Napa with sheep when we were there.
You both have a mini me
KuteKrew MrJosh☺️
You're kids have grown up so much. Hope they didn't get drunk on the juice.
haha just a little sugar rush
Hack. Don't stay in the wine country. Drive in for the day.
