I think it was because of consumables, the use of healing must have dropped a lot since it doesn't work, and so the gain from purchasing consumables reduced
The Mute was nerfed. The blind effect went down from 11 seconds to 7 seconds. That's still too long though and will still mean certain death in most cases. Especially when that Mute mothership is running the blast lockdown turret.
it's actually buffed by this change in many ways. for example loki being able to just flip its stealth off and on healing every time the stealth turns on
Someone once suggested, that while Newton has its body open for the Choke ability, it should lose all defense points. I would have preferred that. But Pixonic chose a lazier route it seems.
I don't think it's entirely useless, but now you have to actually think about how you use it. You can't just expect it to be invulnerable. You need to use cover and stay out of range of opponents that you put into Choke. I've severely damaged Newtons with my levitated Sirius and then finished them off when I got back on the ground. Now that they can't kill me with a single use of their ability and two shots of lightning, I actually stand a chance against them. That's how it's supposed to be.
I am happy that my Lucha won't be lifted forever by Newtons and killed before the RA's have a chance to kick in but the Eiffel might be even more annoying. And then comes Immortal Bedwyr. Fun Times. Good flick, chicken lasagna.
Oooh nooo the most stupidly broken meta we've had in this game is getting nerfed, I am so saaad 😢 I played squad yesterday after months and never had so much fun. Even the matches we lost were great and balanced (even with some mk3 curies in the enemy team). If you guys were ok with players constantly getting pushed and bullied by ochos, and constantly getting lifted and one shot by Newtons, is because you were using those stupid items Players only complain about the nerfs, but they need to complain when a titan can one shot your entire team at 800m range. But why players never complain whrn they launch thibgs like that? Because they looove to use broken items. And that's what you get after 3 months every single time
it has more base defence points than a kid titan, it’s well deserved tbh, it had more base health than most base titans and had more firepower than most titan brawlers (2 alpha, 2 beta).
The Fulgar/Tonans Newton was over Nerfed but it did need a nerf, it was over nerfed because it still could kind of answer the homing bullet Eifel and Pixonic couldn't stand having a semi balanced game state.
No the Newton got nerfed because it destroyed the entire game. Countless times a day, being way up in a battle, only to have 3 Newtons drop in and the next 5 minutes was just game over. They are still, after this nerf, stupidly over powered. 1 Shot tonans still in full effect. 35% reduction in 500% more damage needed still = enough to one shot almost everything on the field. You just have to wait a few more seconds to pick your target to lift and kill.

@@doogyjay1 Guess I have just been lucky. I do think they needed nerfs but the nerfs I had in mind were less severe and/or more "complex". Like, in the case of Tonans/Fulgur what I had in mind was basically the nerf they now got except with 8 seconds of reload. As for Newton, I had the idea that Choke should not work on gravity-amped targets, and it should accumulate 1 stack of weak but long-lasting gravity-amp effect on the target while it's lifted, so that it works as immunity to Choke when dropped. You can tell I cared more about what happened to Newton, and that is because I like what the name of the titan stands for and the novelty of its ability, but realized that it worked in a pretty dumb way except for the part about letting bots escape by dashing, which is now gone too, so it's now extra dumb despite being weaker.
I quit the game when the Newton ca.e out so I am super exited to see it get Nerfed into the ground. There is nothing fun about being gravity amped blinded and then lifted into the air and evaporated....
Yeah, don't get too excited until you see what a Bedwyr or Eiffel with bendy bullets or flamethrowers from hell can do. The Meta didn't balance, it just moved.

The biggest sad is that Cestus, Ksiphos and especially Labrys got nerfed. Ban hammer hitted them badly. Deciever and trickster didn't deserve that treatment as well. Have nothing against Damper/Tamer nerfs (however, I do think that the nerf is harsh. But the nerf was needed). Ocho.... Honestly, the only problem I faced against him, is when he is MK2 lvl 10 and above full maxed out build. Lesser than that, it was managable. LIke MK2 lvl 9 ocho wasn't that bad and tanky. Tonans and Fulgur. Yeah, I would have increased reload myself. To 7 seconds, not 12. And Newton. Just change how long and how often he can yoink you out of the cover and we are all good. Why they reduced his durability, I have no idea. Same goes for slowing down shotguns. I think it won't affect their performance in close range that much, but it is a clear hit for ranges between 350-450. With Ophions nerf I hundred percent agree, I will die on this hill. Concluding. Another wave of bad nerfs. Not even rebalance, just nerfs
More to the point, Deceiver and Trickster are now T2 weapons, but still appear as T4 with the corresponding high upgrade costs so that Pixo can appear generous if they start giving it away I guess!
Larbyss cestus kisphos were the most balanced weapon pixonic has released yet they killed theme Tonan Fulgur deserve 12 sec reload since they one shot titans and light robots Damper should have gotten a damage nerf rather than a fire rate nerf because pixonic don't know that changing a few number on the fire rate kill the weapon Brisant is still good Ocho needed that nerf Curie build in weapons were stronger than the 2 heavy weapons it had Ophion still good since it have a very short cooldown
@@abdouaboud7490 Yep, all Damper/Tamer needed was about 20% damage nerf, but also half Rust effect per shot and double the stack limit (without nerfing maximum possible Rust effect). Had it been up to me, Tonans/Fulgur would have got a 500% multiplier against titans though, to make up for this new reload and the damage nerf. Maybe I would even have added 2 to 4 seconds of EMP against non-titans, to make them a bit more interesting (even when they were OP, they seemed uninteresting to me, since they are simply bigger Zeus).
Now my Newton lifts the opponent and immediately drops it back down. Never chokes it at all. Literally half the time it doesnt even lift them, the choke activates with no result.
Ophion reduced to 5 - second flight time isn't quite accurate, you have to subtract the casting time of 2-seconds into the air from that 5 which only leaves 3-seconds of actual flight time which is ridiculous (personally speaking), I changed my Ophion out for another.
The shotgun dispersion minus 20%, it doesn't plus 20%, so meaning the more the dispersion, the more ur bullets less acurate, so if it minus, mean that got improve accuracy or should i say shoot grouping for shotgun, probably to compensate the less damage it have
Read the description of Currie's blink support ability, it does in fact have lockdown effect. The reduced shot rate increases the time it takes to lock down though

Yep, the Ocho-Ophion-Newton meta era is sealed now. Six months of tears and spending 😅😅 (Aug 2023-Feb 2024) Since 1 month or so, champion league is full with Curie-Eiffels. Shenlou hasn't really taken off. Dickso already touched the Curie.. so. Let's see how this evolve after heavy spenders thrwo themselves to the Bedwyr. Finally, I learned my lesson and started looking to spend little on cool old bots. Right now, I am having fun with my Magnetar-Dagon. Also trying to give my Skyros the electric weapons. Bring back my Sonic Lucha. They are like old good friends. You disappointed them, but there are there for you 😅

9.9.9 pretty much invalidated my hangars. I cannot continue to go through these cycles with this game. It's by far the most expensive of the games I play. That flight duration makes the Ophion''s flight about as long as a volleyball.
Honestly I think just the homing guns for the eiffel should get nerfed because the eiffel alone is actually pretty balanced but the guns are what make it suck and the fact that if flies

My 5th hanger is where I put my RIP robots. My mk3 ophion is there stripped of its weapon, drone, and modules. It’s so sad 😞😭. I replace my Newton weapon with 2 ultimate gendarme, 2 lantern, and 4 onslaught modules.
I've completely reconfigured my line up. All dampers/Deceivers/Brisants are gone. I still have in Unknown Shatter/Splinter. Newton is out, Discordia/Tumultas Rook is in (still seems ok despite nerf) That's one of the things that's pissed me off the most. The fact that they nerfed Rook when the Eiffel is so stupidly OP and now we've got the Bedwyr coming (which is why they nerfed it) Still experimenting at the moment though. They completely ruined my 3x Damper and 1x Deceiver Warrior Typhon though. That build with Duncan pilot, 2x imune amps and ghost pilot skill was an absolutes assasin!! Not anymore. I put 4x Cryptic Hazards on it but it just isn't the same. 😐
Love this rebalance. One of the first games with these stats I had a new best game till date in CL using only Nightingale (1 kill), Mercury (6 kills) and Luchador (8 kills). So 15 kills, 11.7M damage and 9 beacons, almost 5k honor points lol
Dude legit question, without legendary pilots, and the rook nerfs ,is it better for me to start building a rook or lunchador, i have all the weps and mods max, can't decide which titan to use
Luchy is a better tank and has good hp its healing maxed or almost maxed is good. I've heard running to repair amps and 2 dmg controllers is a good mod build
I've got a strategy to stop buying these OP things: Buy old bots and weapons and upgrade them. It may seem crazy, but you can actually upgrade much easier old bots than those new bots and if they are upgraded aeast MK2 level 5, it can do very good. For example I use my Shell with Glaciers and Rimes, it actually does well against curies and those rust weapins, etc. This is my strategy. Keep in mind that now PIXONIC buffs old things slowly, but it will be very good.
rebalance for the rebalances: tonans/fulgur, 12 second reload to 8 seconds shatter/splinter/brisant damage +8% newton - +10% hp ophion ability +1 second duration (i dont know enough about the rest of the weapons/bots to give my opinion)
The ophion truly needed the nerf, 8 seconds of increased damage to max level titans with pilot skills and maxed modules is honestly unacceptable and it stills slaps in skilled hands. The curie and eiffel are just disgusting on their own and the rust weapons can finally settle down. Quality of life slightly restored after this blessed nerf.
The Ochokochi is still annoying AF, a tank with that kind of speed and the annoying pulsing, we need another nerf to the pulse duration. Ophion has followed the Fafnir and Hawk dethroning but not as bad as its health is like a Fafnirs and its cooldown appears to be alright, plus purple shields > reflectors (maybe now its more balanced to the other titan slayer bots?). The Newton is still annoying obviously in combination with Tonans and Fulgar. Rook nerf is going to hurt a lot and will ultimately make it worse than Eiffel (Rook equal to Newton?). All in all not a good business practice.
So glad these nerfs finally came, now I'm more willing to play. However, I know a guy who spent a lot and plays a lot that got royally screwed and I feel bad for him and others that have paid and worked a ton upgrading their hanger that's now trash.
I appreciate this video. That being said.......the Tonans/Fulgur still looked stupid strong. In 50 battles today, 43 fights the enemy squad had multiple newtons on the field at the same time. The shorter choke and the longer reload of it means nothing if there are multiple newtons. The biggest problem I saw in your video was the Tonans/Fulgurs were still stupidly over powered. You should never be able to lift a person from 800m and one shot it. Ever. My UE Ao Ming will still get one shot by Newtons every single time from what I just saw.

I find it interesting Pixo gave us a bot that can turn from a fairly fragile robot, to an absolute tank with massive HP with an ability use. And weapons that can obscure HP restore. It's almost like they foresaw EXACTLY what kind of meta they wanted to introduce or something 🙄As much as I love playing this game, it really does become tiresome to keep up with all these changes...
They should have kept the speed on the ophions ability because 5 seconds and no travel distance plus 350m range and less blast radius is just to much 😢😤
It’s safe to say that, newton players will more than likely agree, that no body immediately plays that aggressive with that newton set up. Spawn in and immediately expose yourself to the enemies has never been these players strategy ever with those weapons. It’s a camping setup not a brawler one. I’m sure newton players will notice that and expose that these situations shown in this video are not as realistic as some viewers may think. I don’t even have that damn titan but can say first hand from getting wrecked by it for so long over the last few months that nobody that does have it plays like that with it especially with tonans and fulgur. Not trying to start an argument just stating that the newton used correctly with these weapons are still going to wreck sh@t haha
My testing has shown that the individual matches are also rigged. Ever played against known players, even back to back matches, and game to game, and somehow your just smoking it, then pow, for a few matches your getting smoked. So they're even rigging the matches.
They really should have nerfed the Ocho blast waves! Those things send me and my mars turret all the way across the map all the time! Not even the titans are doing that!
I'm very disappointed, tbh damper, tamer, and deceiver needs a big nerf, they still do a lot of damage they can screw all of Ur healers robots, they should rebalance in order to this : healers robots are invulnerable to this weapons and so are the robots with the inmune repair amplifier ( so is the titan amplifier) . And the titan autocontrol wants a buff; should remove blind effect and lock down , and maybe 20% of more HP instead of 16% or at least 18%. Lemme know what do U think bout this. Honestly, i am so happy for the fulgur and tonans nerf. I hated those weapons with a passion. The moment i drop my maxed out titan it gets 1 tapped. I often contemplated about chuckin my phone across the room. This nerf is so deserved for a frickin 800 meter weapon with a 5 second reload!
My hangar is 4 old robots and 1 new robot, without a large amount of silver in improvements, because in two months it will be nerfed. I also don't worry about winning such robots, my newest robot is ochokochi. Even so, I remain the champion, I avoid entering matches at the beginning of new updates, I enter from the middle to the end, after UA-camrs and other spenders have gotten tired of the new and broken robots!

Yep same ever since fafnir and murometz got nerfed I stopped chasing the meta and my hangar now has Hades, Ao Jun, Fenrir, harpy, ravana, and Indra.

@@abdouaboud7490 Yep, all Damper/Tamer needed was about 20% damage nerf, but also half Rust effect per shot and double the stack limit (without nerfing maximum possible Rust effect).
Had it been up to me, Tonans/Fulgur would have got a 500% multiplier against titans though, to make up for this new reload and the damage nerf. Maybe I would even have added 2 to 4 seconds of EMP against non-titans, to make them a bit more interesting (even when they were OP, they seemed uninteresting to me, since they are simply bigger Zeus).

Now my Newton lifts the opponent and immediately drops it back down. Never chokes it at all. Literally half the time it doesnt even lift them, the choke activates with no result.
Ophion reduced to 5 - second flight time isn't quite accurate, you have to subtract the casting time of 2-seconds into the air from that 5 which only leaves 3-seconds of actual flight time which is ridiculous (personally speaking), I changed my Ophion out for another.
Lockdown on the Currie turrets would be slower. Since they fire slower, less bullets to apply the effect.

The shotgun dispersion minus 20%, it doesn't plus 20%, so meaning the more the dispersion, the more ur bullets less acurate, so if it minus, mean that got improve accuracy or should i say shoot grouping for shotgun, probably to compensate the less damage it have

Oh btw, Curies turrets don't have lockdown. The way you get them to lock players down is by either equipping Paralysis or using unstable conduit.
Read the description of Currie's blink support ability, it does in fact have lockdown effect. The reduced shot rate increases the time it takes to lock down though

9.9.9 pretty much invalidated my hangars. I cannot continue to go through these cycles with this game. It's by far the most expensive of the games I play. That flight duration makes the Ophion''s flight about as long as a volleyball.

My 5th hanger is where I put my RIP robots. My mk3 ophion is there stripped of its weapon, drone, and modules. It’s so sad 😞😭. I replace my Newton weapon with 2 ultimate gendarme, 2 lantern, and 4 onslaught modules.

I've completely reconfigured my line up. All dampers/Deceivers/Brisants are gone. I still have in Unknown Shatter/Splinter. Newton is out, Discordia/Tumultas Rook is in (still seems ok despite nerf)
That's one of the things that's pissed me off the most. The fact that they nerfed Rook when the Eiffel is so stupidly OP and now we've got the Bedwyr coming (which is why they nerfed it)

They completely ruined my 3x Damper and 1x Deceiver Warrior Typhon though. That build with Duncan pilot, 2x imune amps and ghost pilot skill was an absolutes assasin!! Not anymore. I put 4x Cryptic Hazards on it but it just isn't the same. 😐

One of the first games with these stats I had a new best game till date in CL using only Nightingale (1 kill), Mercury (6 kills) and Luchador (8 kills). So 15 kills, 11.7M damage and 9 beacons, almost 5k honor points lol

Luchy is a better tank and has good hp its healing maxed or almost maxed is good. I've heard running to repair amps and 2 dmg controllers is a good mod build

I've got a strategy to stop buying these OP things: Buy old bots and weapons and upgrade them. It may seem crazy, but you can actually upgrade much easier old bots than those new bots and if they are upgraded aeast MK2 level 5, it can do very good. For example I use my Shell with Glaciers and Rimes, it actually does well against curies and those rust weapins, etc. This is my strategy. Keep in mind that now PIXONIC buffs old things slowly, but it will be very good.

tonans/fulgur, 12 second reload to 8 seconds
shatter/splinter/brisant damage +8%
newton - +10% hp
ophion ability +1 second duration

The ophion truly needed the nerf, 8 seconds of increased damage to max level titans with pilot skills and maxed modules is honestly unacceptable and it stills slaps in skilled hands. The curie and eiffel are just disgusting on their own and the rust weapons can finally settle down. Quality of life slightly restored after this blessed nerf.
The Ochokochi is still annoying AF, a tank with that kind of speed and the annoying pulsing, we need another nerf to the pulse duration. Ophion has followed the Fafnir and Hawk dethroning but not as bad as its health is like a Fafnirs and its cooldown appears to be alright, plus purple shields > reflectors (maybe now its more balanced to the other titan slayer bots?). The Newton is still annoying obviously in combination with Tonans and Fulgar. Rook nerf is going to hurt a lot and will ultimately make it worse than Eiffel (Rook equal to Newton?). All in all not a good business practice.
The rebalance definitely eased up my gameplay. But again the rebalance should never be that drastic tbh.
Finally no lifting up to be 1 shot killed🤤
So glad these nerfs finally came, now I'm more willing to play. However, I know a guy who spent a lot and plays a lot that got royally screwed and I feel bad for him and others that have paid and worked a ton upgrading their hanger that's now trash.

I appreciate this video. That being said.......the Tonans/Fulgur still looked stupid strong. In 50 battles today, 43 fights the enemy squad had multiple newtons on the field at the same time. The shorter choke and the longer reload of it means nothing if there are multiple newtons. The biggest problem I saw in your video was the Tonans/Fulgurs were still stupidly over powered. You should never be able to lift a person from 800m and one shot it. Ever.
My UE Ao Ming will still get one shot by Newtons every single time from what I just saw.
Yes same. Pulled out the Ao Ming and BOOM - lasted 3 seconds. (3 seconds just to take off and across map - Fulgar/Tonans still super strong)

Need to only deploy when it's safe ... but will prob just go back to my Eiffel - way stronger in my opinion. Ultimate stuff is not ultimate strong - it is better but not against latest meta.

I find it interesting Pixo gave us a bot that can turn from a fairly fragile robot, to an absolute tank with massive HP with an ability use. And weapons that can obscure HP restore. It's almost like they foresaw EXACTLY what kind of meta they wanted to introduce or something 🙄As much as I love playing this game, it really does become tiresome to keep up with all these changes...

It’s safe to say that, newton players will more than likely agree, that no body immediately plays that aggressive with that newton set up. Spawn in and immediately expose yourself to the enemies has never been these players strategy ever with those weapons. It’s a camping setup not a brawler one. I’m sure newton players will notice that and expose that these situations shown in this video are not as realistic as some viewers may think. I don’t even have that damn titan but can say first hand from getting wrecked by it for so long over the last few months that nobody that does have it plays like that with it especially with tonans and fulgur. Not trying to start an argument just stating that the newton used correctly with these weapons are still going to wreck sh@t haha
My testing has shown that the individual matches are also rigged.
Ever played against known players, even back to back matches, and game to game, and somehow your just smoking it, then pow, for a few matches your getting smoked.

I'm very disappointed, tbh damper, tamer, and deceiver needs a big nerf, they still do a lot of damage they can screw all of Ur healers robots, they should rebalance in order to this : healers robots are invulnerable to this weapons and so are the robots with the inmune repair amplifier ( so is the titan amplifier) . And the titan autocontrol wants a buff; should remove blind effect and lock down , and maybe 20% of more HP instead of 16% or at least 18%. Lemme know what do U think bout this. Honestly, i am so happy for the fulgur and tonans nerf. I hated those weapons with a passion. The moment i drop my maxed out titan it gets 1 tapped. I often contemplated about chuckin my phone across the room. This nerf is so deserved for a frickin 800 meter weapon with a 5 second reload!
My hangar is 4 old robots and 1 new robot, without a large amount of silver in improvements, because in two months it will be nerfed. I also don't worry about winning such robots, my newest robot is ochokochi. Even so, I remain the champion, I avoid entering matches at the beginning of new updates, I enter from the middle to the end, after UA-camrs and other spenders have gotten tired of the new and broken robots!
I don't like using those bots anyway,it doesn't feel right when i do
Besides,the cryo rocket raven is a really good build with some pretty high damage
