  • Hey guys! this video is something different from other ones.
My full time job is filmmaking and I've always had this desire to exhibit lifestyle, passions, and values of Japanese people through my creation, so I decided to work on making this documentary short film. I hope this video touches and inspires you somehow by learning a little bit of Mrs. Umezawa's background, a unique relationship she had with his father, struggles and the value of her life.
Mrs. Umezawa is a very talented oil painter based in my hometown rural Gunma, Japan. Influenced by her father, painting has always been the greatest meaning of her life. Listening to her stories, I was very amazed that the only reason as to why she keeps painting is just because it's her passion. I think what she does is great dedication and is beautiful.
