Television & Media - Tools of Shaytaan | Mind Control Technique

The Media and Television is currently used to demonize and attack Muslims and Islam, the ones who control the media, use this tool to control the thoughts and views of their audience all over the world to fit their hidden agenda. Media controls us in such a subtle way that the majority of population would not even believe that this could happen. Media controls you in many ways: through TV serials, programs, commercials, TV news, newspapers, radio news, movies and sometimes even through the internet.
People will believe what the media tells them without even thinking twice and without doing research because they believe that the information comes from a reliable source. But in Islam we are taught not to just believe what we hear, but to check things up and look into things before just accepting it as the truth.
Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) said in Qur'an: "O you who believe! If a rebellious evil person comes to you with a news, verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful to what you have done." {Qur'an, 49:6}
Television distracts us from the truth and reality, and fills our minds with illusion, junk and false news or propaganda that usually takes us away from the remembrance of Allah (subhanahu wa'tala).
So Its advisable for everyone of us to cut it out of our lives .. In sha Allah.
