This is Amanda's mother-in-law, Natalie, and yes, I'm an avid watcher of the Millcast like so many of you! Mark and I are so in awe of the business that Peggy and Amanda have built. I'm constantly plugging the Mill whenever I can. So interesting to watch how the raw wool is processed right up to the skeins of yarn that we knit/crochet with. We are so happy to have Amanda in our son, Cody's, life as well as ours!!!! And they have some pretty nice children as well!! Her and Peggy on camera are just what you see in real life!! Genuine! Like I commented after last weeks Millcast, I was so happy to see them in California and we all had a great time together! I'm so blessed to have them in my life!!!!
I thought for sure we were in the wrong Airbnb until I realized it was Lewis and Maeve came running around the corner! 😂 Thank you for the best wishes!!! Thanks to Amanda, I’m knitting…. A bit slow still but trying new things!
Thanks Peggy and Amanda. Your sweater is gorgeous Peggy. I loved hearing about your surprise trip to celebrate your MIL’s cancer treatment concluding. May she have many years of good health.
Peggy your sweater is beautiful, such a nice color for you❤Amanda don’t put pressure on yourself to finish, you’re so amazing that with two small kiddos, you are almost done!! Loving the neons so much! Have a good week!
Wow - Peg’s sweater looks wonderful & great on! And Amanda, thank you for the travel knit wisdom, well timed for me and the sock yarn I have not cast on needles yet for a trip. Going to cast on before leaving.
Oh my goodness, those neons are amazing! My little boy would love them all. I hope there are some left at Millapalooza. Peggy, your cardigan is just stunning! Happy knitting 💚🧶💚
You are both so much fun to watch and great yarn dyes and fun colors - surprise trip was so wonderful!!great pictures and time in wine country!!! Having just gone through breast cancer last winter, I can relate and balloons to her from me!!
Just wanted to say Thanks and how happy a Millcast makes me every time! Always uplifting. Have a great day both of you and the entire Mill Team. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Peggy and Amanda , Thanks for another enjoyable and inspiring episode. You look so pretty Peggy in that sweater! Nice shawl too. Will be checking out both patterns! Happy Knitting!
All the samples and both your lindal sweaters are gorgeous...Peg your grey yarn and that purple together are spectacular! Glad you and our family had a great time in California, Amanda, and smooth travels. Love the ocean eyes and (forgot the pop name for the) purple =) I bet a shawl like Feel the Breeze by Jennifer Weissman could be made with that set and a dark contrast...says the person with over 100 WIPs and a habit of stating stings when stressed....today I think I'll start my Riemu with the kit I just got!
I need that orange yarn! I live in Houston and not in a hunting area, but the moms driving their kids to school are sometimes menacing to walkers! I could wear a bright orange hat when walking when the weather gets cooler.
What a beautiful sweater Peggy and Amanda yours is coming along so beautifully also. Sounds like so much fun your millapoloosa too bad I live in Michigan. Love the neon colors. Am making a cowl with your Halloween kit. 😊
As someone born in the 1940s I can attest that the Tunbridge World’s Fair was a WILD place in the 60s and early 70s. And not necessarily in a legal or demure way. I still laugh about the shenanigans.
I ordered two skins of the hunter orange to make a hat for myself and my husband since we hike in the woods often. Will I get to junction fiber Mill cotton patches?
I love the idea for a hunters hat! I just ordered my skein to make a hat for my dad. Does anyone have a recommendation for a simple hat pattern to use with this weight of yarn?

We are sending a tag with each skein!

We are trying the Musselburgh Hat :)
My Lindal ended up way too big 🥲 the arms are long and the neck too wide. Does anyone know how to shrink it?
