Very cute place. But you have to giggle, this is definitely what people think vegans eat all the time. And for some it probably is which is fine, like each to their own, I'd try a few of those things too (especially in the summer when you want something light and refreshing or are just feeling like your body needs more healthy unprocessed foods) but yeah I'm definitely never going to be a raw vegan myself 😂 nice to see you out in the sun though and hope you're feeling good! 💜
I would never ever go raw vegan myself either and I’ve been 100% vegan for four years but my system let’s just leave it at that cannot handle raw vegan and I don’t think it’s a thing that I can get down with I mean no disrespect to anyone who goes that path but it’s not for me that’s for sure but I appreciate that NYC: has options for everybody in the vegan Spectrum
Time to binge watch! It has been a minute for me! I miss you! 🥹
Thank you for showcasing this long standing vegan restaurant. Beautiful place and food. Always love you and Berto testing food💜
I used to go there when it first opened. It certainly has its loyal customers. Back then I was younger and impatient and it took me a few times to understand that you never go there starving because the relaxed atmosphere translated into a three-hour dining experience ( slight exaggeration) because of the HUGE kitchen wait times. It was okay but I much preferred Angelica's Kitchen (RIP). But hey, Angel is still around and that speaks to his business sense and good food. I'll have to revisit the place. It's been over 25 years or so. Thanks!
Roberto seems to be getting more comfortable on camera. 👍 😃
vegan loooks sooooo good!!
we've missed you!!!
This place is awesome!
Also love your insta content 🥰 the reels, puppy story ...😁
Boah I thought there are no videos anymore but surprise ✨✨ and you look so amazing and refreshed...you glow ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Thank you for this review
So happy to see this post. Any time my YT faves take a bit of a break I panic. :)
I never think about raw restaurants because I just think “salad”, but you opened my eyes with this one! The raw foods looked amazing!!
Great video! Hope to see more videos from you soon.
Starting to post once a week again!
@@bodegacatx Awesome! Can't wait! I had no clue about the other vlog channel. So, i'll be catching up on that one as well.
Yeeey! You made my evening 🤓🍿
I loveeee the warm brownie sundae from there!
Just came back from a nyc trip and all your IIHs helped me out so much! Every place we went was a 10. Will definitely have to check out this place next time I go!
My fave vegan couple is back 😊
Sushi rolls are a finger food. You should look it up if you haven't already. That's why they are wrapped in seaweed and cut into bite size pieces. Many other non Japanese ppl think it's supposed to be eaten with chopsticks for some reason
the ruben there is soo good!
cool history!
I used to go to this place before covid when I was working in an office…Caravan of Dreams is a great place that deserves more attention ✅
Everything looked delicious. I didn't know you can eat raw sweet potatoes? I love trying raw food. Cute place 👍
I feel like that has to be cooked. Like raw food doesn't always mean entirely raw. It kind of just means very "fresh"
@@strawberrysoymilkshake cool, thanks 😊 I thought so 😄
No, by raw food we mean uncooked! but the sweet potatos weren't raw. They're cooked!
Raw food dishes done right are great. Raw food is anything less than 118 degrees.
Just discovered your channel. I'm originally from NYC but live in Chicago now. If you ever make it out here, you have to go to the Chicago Diner on Halstead. It's literally the mecca for veganism here. So damn good.
Ive been! Its pretty similar to champs diner in NYC
@@bodegacatx Have you been to Sweet Vegan on North Ave, then?
One of my neighbors recommended this place to me!
Since my Birthday is next month I want to go to an all vegan restaurant with friends and I currently have Coletta, Planta Queen, Hangawi and now Caravan of Dreams in the running 🤣and I haven't been to any of these places yet lol
Omg, enjoy!
💚
Loved this video like always. Can you link the video where you tried being raw vegan? The idea seems very interesting to me .
I think ive taken that video down haha. It was old

My tummy agrees with you! Vegan 5 years but raw just upset me, also can't do kombucha, water kefir is fine, but nope to kombucha. Happy there are many great other choices.
What’s the kefir made from?
I think it was coconut milk
