I have an absolute mint one of these, had it for 2 years now and have learned A lot about the bike. Mine is an 03 so has the newer lotus tuned engine. A couple of tips though if you like the bike and decide to keep it.. Ditch the standard exhaust it's super restrictive and hides that awesome sound of the triumph triple. I went A16 with removable baffle, a performance piper air filter then a full days live mapping on a dyno by melted sliders. Transformed the bike into something that just feels permanently angry. Replace the real shock for a nitron unit built to your specification. Also fork oil for your weight. Just a couple of things that I've done to mine and now rides absolutely amazing showing up most Japanese rivals. If you want anymore info drop me a message, Lee.
@@scottydrones2987 not like the dude in the video, unfortunately. Low fps to hide the braking almost to a stop in the corners?... Man that's just plain dangerous. I have a 99 daytona, so also the 'daytona lotus' tune 128hp from 108, rather than 112 from 108 of the 'sprint st/rs' model.... Why dip the clutch in a bend?... Unless he is actually doing 25-35 mph in 1st gear, but has sped up the film??... Now there is a thought?
..I've had 2 of these, great fuel range and with progressive fork springs and heavier oil they don't handle too bad. Riding through winter destroyed the finish on the engine, despite careful hosing off each time and AF50.
your breaking form needs fixing, you might crash this beauty because of it some day by locking the front, try one or two fingers max, this bike has strong breaks and no abs,if you panick in an emergency and use all 5 fingers you will lock the front, also try having the finger on the lever at all times, saves you at least half a second of breaking time
