- Hi. We from Rev It Up Brazil, are glad to bring you this test. It shows how the reflashed version of the CVT Honda Civic Touring performs against the Stock version of the same car. The KTuner Touring passed on the dyno showing all his health from this little 1.5L engine (205WHP) using 21PSI on 95 octane gasoline.
KTuner provides flawless a safe performance for your Civic Touring.
We will be taking this car to an official quarter mile soon. Lets see how it goes.

A base model CVT 2.0L Civic LX might be able to smoke a stock Si with a tune like that.

I have the 2017 Honda Civic hatchback cvt 1.5L with a "hondata" reflash 6 PSI upgrade but damn those times right there are extremely impressive 14.1@100 mph! Ktuner seems lil more aggressive than hondata

As someone from the US, interesting to see the raised suspension on the south american models! With how bad the streets are in some spots near me, I wouldn't mind that lmao.

Hi i tested my car with KT stage 2 21psi map. I have REV9 upgraded IC and K & N drop in filter but it remained almost near to stock... one thing i recalled is i am having stock Catalytic Converter. Do Catless down pipe needed to give the stock Civic such gap in a drag race test ? Is Cat restriction causing restriction of not giving 21psi boost power?
Do you find if the cat had something to do? I’m planning on buying ktuner I have an upgrade intake and inlet

Can you please guide which 21psi tune you used? Starter 21psi or stage 2 21psi? I feel a stressful humming / kind of a vibration at around 2800 to 3000 rpm i.e. at max torque, Can Cat delete remove this vibration type feeling due to excessive back pressure of Catted OEM down pipe? Or i have to replace a rear motor mount?
Try replacing some of the piping with PRL. It makes a huge difference in engine stress and overall performance

Se passaram mais de 3 anos do lançamento e até hj o Civic Touring não foi lançado Flex. Pq a Honda insiste em permanecer atrás nesse tipo de tecnologia? BMW, Mercedes, Citroen, Audi, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Chevrolet...todos já dispõe da tecnologia turbo flex a algum tempo. Tenho um Civic 2.0 2017 ELX, não comprei o Touring por não ser Flex. Vou acabar trocando de marca em 2019, mesmo gostando do design do Civic G10.

Those are nothing to "eh" at. Hell 20hp from a bone stock tune on a 184hp car is MASSIVE as you can see.

Will Roger Seu carro é turbo? Creio que não, então acho mais viável e fácil instalar um kit acionado por correia que pode ser um Turbocharger da Rotrex. Vai ficar bom tanto em baixa como em alta rotação. Mas converse com o pessoal da Rev It Up que eles é quem são especialistas em preparação Honda, pois eu sou nada mais que um fã de automóveis! but what does tuning a stock car do to the lifespan of the vehicle? i.e. will it harm engine components or increase wear and tear on some components of the car?

CVT may damage as it is not designed for very big torque. :( I also have this 1.5 182HP but with CVT and this is why I'm not sure if should add any more power to this car.
Performance mods will decrease the lifespan of drivetrain components on any vehicle. Honda is no different. Measure if its worth it for YOU.
@@ozgalukasz the cvt has been pushed to about 250hp before and survived. A tune isnt going to drastically affect cvt wear as youd probably get about 20-30 hp gains at peak.

Civic Touring is only available with a CVT. The maximum torque that the CVT can take according to Honda is 220 Nm or 162 Ft/Lbs. I bet 21 Psi is way over that.
Carl Dupntits it's over that stock... These cars are faster stock than the 9th gen SI... Ask me how I know. I've had cars that are 600hp, so I know what a pretty fast car is, but my coupe is a good little car not really fast, but get 50 mpg on the highway.. My cvt has paddle shifters too for some reason, I don't see many others that do.. wanted a standard but I couldn't get the Color I wanted with the 6 speed in 2016. People can shit on them all then want but my energy green coupe gets as many looks as any car in town. Mines lowered with some nice wheels, I'm almost 40 now so it's not a fixed out turd, it's a nice commuter car.
The Sedan EX doesn't have a Turbo engine but if you have a 6 speed manual and a Turbo (EX-T or HB) the clutch will slip when shifting under maximum acceleration with the re-flash. I saw this reported by one of the You Tubers. You'll need to install an SI clutch to do it right. 10 hours labor plus kit.
Dan p , what’s up , I just got a 2020 civic sport hb CVT and I got smoked by a rsx type s not sure what mods but mine is completely stock and I want to go faster since I got beat lol other than this ktune what else should I do that is safe for little pulls every now and then and also for daily driving .
