why using soil when only using easy plants and guppys need hard water. Putting fish in befor Nitrit peak is just so dumb. Dont under stand me wrong the scape looks okay but the whole concept is shit
The soil acts as extra nutrients and contains everything the roots of that plants need. Definitely didn’t need to add it but had a bag lying around so thought why not. The filter was reused from the previous setup which is full of living beneficial bacteria. I had it running with my endlers while I was rescaping. I tested every other day the week I readded the fish. No deaths at all. I forgot to mention the coral bones I added into the tank but the water is above neutral, safe for the plants and fish. I hope this clarified mate
@@Lazarusthefishboy Still dumb using soil when not needed. 1,5 year and you can redo the tank because of the short life time from soil. just a waste of money.
Laz for Prime Minister!!!! It came out great with just extra parts. Nicely done!
Thanks Nygold! After a few aquascapes it’s crazy how much wood and rock you don’t end up using and have lying around. Have a good one mate
Kudos bro
Well done, guys.
Thanks mate! I appreciate it!
Another nice edit :)
Cheers Colin! Thanks for tuning in mate
Love it so much ❤
Thanks Sas! Very happy to hear
"500 likes and Laz eats this" 😂
It turned out very nice. The shrimps are always a good idea. What will you use to clean the windows?
Thanks mate! The shrimp and ramshorns are doing an amazing job at the moment but depending on the algae I use a plastic credit card or a razor.
That tank costs over 25 dollars if you hadn't used aquasoil
Full of nutrients 👌 it’ll make me a true fish boy
