For the purpose of January selling, Dragusin shout is very bad. We are very light at centre back, with 3 injuries to centrebacks. I would have expected you to say either Richarlison or Reguilon. There is close to no chance we would allow Dragusin to leave even in the summer.
To be fair to james, he did add the caveat that we would need to get a replacement. I think the same counts for reguilon. Richarlison might then be a better shout, but he would probably be going for cheaper than wanted- if he even agrees to a move. Realistically I'm not sure we are in a position to sell anyone right now unless we get some serious players in
I wouldn't sell Richy or Reguilon as well because we got no covers for Porro and Spence at fullback and we only have 19yr old Lanksheare at the top. I would actually sell Brennan Johnson because he doesn't really fit our system but he could be a valuable asset for other teams. I would sell Brennan and get Semenyo
@@keymouseboard4102we haven’t played regi for more than like 20 minutes this season. Until the injury crisis he wasn’t even making the bench. Even now when Destiny is out we play djed a RB at LB
Uploading this video after Dragusin just had an amazing game is hilarious lmao. 100% staying, we cant get rid of CB's when we are playing an 18 year old DM there right now. Likely one to leave is Richarlison, if anyone wants to have him
I love Tyrone Mings more than I love practically any other player at the club. I don't think it even makes sense now Pau has a broken foot, he has to start every match.
Mings grew on me massively since I’ve seen more and more interviews from him, hope villa allow him to become the player he was before he got that knee injury
Radu Dragusin over reguilon is a huge overlook for spurs, we have no CB’s and reguilon has only got time because we have no other choice. Guy was literally celebrating on social media about getting minutes 😅
Chris Wood started 20 games last season and got 14 goals. Awoniyi started 12 games last season with 6 goals. Saying Wood was not first choice last season is just not true, it took me 5 minutes to fact check that come on man.
Out of the CBs I think it’s Carlos who is likelier to leave than Mings. Left footed, Pau injured, is just about the only defender we have who can actually win an aerial duel, well loved by everyone at the club.
Shit, Mings' first start since the injury he got the most aerial clearances in one game than any other Villa player had in 2 years. The previous person to get more was Tyrone Mings
Regarding Chilwell, no move materialised in the summer mainly because of his wages. He's still on the 200k per week he signed on before the new owners implemented a new wage structure. The bigger clubs that could pay that don't see him as viable due to injury issues + tactical fit with alot of top clubs using technically secure fullbacks. Whereas smaller clubs who would want him for his qualities can't afford to pay his wages. He he leaves the transfer fee will be tiny
Awoniyi been injured rather than dropped. He's quality when he's fit. Not sure we'd sell him in Jan considering the position we're in, unless we've got an upgrade lined up
Agreed on Kamada, our highest earner (somehow) and proved less effective than Devenny. Need to reinvest the wages and any fee we would get. Holding and Schlupp are also just deadwood we need to axe.
I dont think Forest are going to sell Taiwo Awoniyi as hes just scored a goal hes most likely to play in the cup i think he will turn his season around
Forest fan here re: Taiwo. I wouldn’t personally want to get rid of Taiwo. I feel like all he’s needed for ages is a goal. He bagged the other night against Wolves, so I’d give him til the end of the season. At the risk of making this comment too long, I think the following context is important. I have detected a recurring theme in NFFC January window discussion of looking for an alternative striker to Chris Wood that offers something different in terms of play style. This is a fair point and I endorse it. There’s a divergent point in this conversation where I differ from a lot of my ilk. I don’t see why we’d need to dip into the transfer market to find that when he’s already sat on our bench week in week out.
Chilwell, probably worth around 20mil 25 tops but with the I reckon money he’s on, I can imagine Chelsea getting rid for as little as 10 (possibly even less) Watford fan here, I’d take him happily but I doubt we could afford it nor would he want to come lol
Selling Keleher with an injury prone first goalkeeper in Alison is madness. On top of that Keleher has enough of a track record to bring in at least as much money in the summer.
New CH announced at Wolves already, hopefully another to come as we only had one available on Monday night. Sarabia's a dead cert to go. He's one of our highest earners and although he's occasionally handy, he's a lightweight and fancies himself a little too much IMO, no great loss and yet I was so excited to get him when we did, he never lived upto his promise.... Not suited to the PL.
Facts mate, Justin is arguably the worst starter in the premier league in my opinion, I’ve never seen a player go from the cusp of the England squad to the level he is now, the injuries haven’t helped but he gives up at least a goal a game currently. Ricardo is out until March anyway and if he was fit would be starting now under Ruud.
normally i think you are pretty smart, but saying dragusin has to be the dumbest thing that has come out of you mouth. He is currently tottenhams only fit centerback and is still young and developing.
As a Chelsea fan, we should sell chilwell but there are players there that we need to prioritise more into selling (looking at you disasi and bob sanchez
Sarabia and Bellegarde are my picks for Wolves. They have tried to find ways for Bellegarde to contribute out of position and he just can't do it. Sell both of them and scrape together the funds for either CB or Winger.
Selling Mings is mad. He's one of our best defenders has been with us for years and will be starting for the next 3 months with Torres injured. Also £6mil for him what? If we're looking at selling Diego Carlos for £10 mil I'd want at least £20 mil for Ty. He's so underrated outside of villa park
In the summer kelleher will move on but right now we’ll keep him cus alisson is getting injured more and more nowadays like kelleher has played more games since the start of last season than alisson. If we sell kelleher in jan we’ll have to get someone in as backup or rely on jaros who looked good in the one game he played but imagine he’s our only keeper for half a season in a title race
We are keeping Mings at least till the summer and getting rid of Carlos instead. Yes, I believe there maybe even more movement in the summer as our defensive output has been disappointing
You need a no nonsense defender in every squad and that's exactly what Dragusin is. You can't play the same way every time and whether Ange likes it or not, Dragusin will tackle, block and play the ball into Row Z when necessary. Terrible shout on this one.
Kieran Tierney is spot on, however Zinchenko isn’t a natural LB, Calafiori looks more a LCB to me, MLS is great but KT is genuinely our only natural LB. I think I’d be happier to let Zinchenko and Kiwior go in January. Most important thing for us to bring someone in that can backup Saka, someone who can do more on the length and in an ideal world another striker.
First off, Dragusin was just signed in the summer, so no way he goes, especially when we'd have to sell at a discount. Honestly, it's probably Son in terms of what he has left and what you might be able to get for him. Or Richarlison, but who's going to buy dead weight?
@@Hikoplouyr Still. We're not selling him less than or a year later. And if we did, we'd have to most likely take a loss. I'm a Spurs fan and there are a handful that can go before him.
Have to agree on Dragusin. Could see him being a solid CB for a team that defends the box a lot, but he isn't at the level to play in a team that wants their CBs to basically be deep lying playmakers yet. I see glimpses every now and then, but as a spurs fan, I would take Archie Gray at CB over him. As bad as our results have been, he looks like he could be a very good player.
Celtic aren't gonna pay money for Tierney in Jan, we're notoriously sting with our funds and are likely to get him for free in the summer( with a massive wage drop). We are also 16 points clear in the league so there is no rush unless we are deluded to think he'd make a difference in the champions league. The question is whether Arsenal want to keep paying his £120k p/w wages until the summer or can work a way to release him for free so he can find a new club and they can sign someone else
Nobody would pay anything for him but if he gets banned (really hope not) then I see him being released and then play in none-Fifa countries like Russia.
Nooooo not Mings! As a Villa fan, i want him with us until he retires. I think we're light on the left cb options, plus i think he'll make us defensively stronger when he's fully fit. Carlos on the other hand, i think he could be moved on.
I understand your logic on selling Mings, but no definitely not!. Carlos is the one they have been trying to sell but with Pau out, not sure they can sell any of them unless a new one comes in.
As a Villa fan I’d sell Carlos over Mings as he offers much needed leadership and is better defensively. Carlos you’d think would be good defensively but he’s worse than he should be. Mings has a mistake in him sure but so does Carlos who for a big guy is surprisingly weak sometimes he also has little pace and is not very good at heading the ball.

Alisson doesn't look same since coming back against united and spurs. Its been regularly said by other fans on socials Keheller is the best no.2 and should be a first choice goalkeeper. In this market he's easily a minimum £35m+ goalkeeper. Hes played in cup finals and won. Crucial in making Liverpool top of the league this season. Each time stepping in for Alisson and never letting the club down. Elliot, Quansah, Nunez and Endo make way more sense to sell
