Nice. My favourite are 2011-2015 and 2015-2016. 2016-2019 is good, and 2020-2021 also good, especially 60th anniversary with Portugal winning European Championship clip. Current one isn't bad.
the news programmes at 1pm and 8pm (Telejornal is at 8pm) have a summary before the news programme start the news programme at 6/6:30-10 am does not have a summary. There used to be a late night news programme called "24 horas" (24 hours) that was killed late 90's or start of 2000's and moved from RTP1 (the tv channel of this video) to RTP3 (a cable tv channel and later allowed to be a free air channel). You can search "rtp 24 horas".
RTP didn't have a source of high income. Most people in Portugal were poor and people got into local cafe to watch tv. The income came from publicity and a taxe that people paid. Anyone that had tv, had to register it and pay a fee. There was a huge investiment during the 70's and color finally arrived in the 80's but many people who invested in bw tv... didn't have money for a color tv... the tax suffered some changes in the 90's.. no longer needed to register tvs but the tax was slowly moved into the electricity bill which everyone pays... even those who don't have tv or watch RTP channels at all, have to pay it
From a Portuguese Guy, Feliz Ano Novo (Happy new year)!
