Thanks! I've been wanting to work on some RPi projects for a while and a recent opportunity (which you folks will learn about shortly) gave me a reason to complete some of them. With the Pi Zero W, the price range is at least in the neighborhood of ESPx boards ($5 board + $5 SD card). Next up: applications for voice recognition and computer vision, which are hard to do on lower-level chips.
Great! I haven't got into Raspberry Pi yet, but will have to soon as it seems like a cool environment with lots of software tools.

I am confused on how you powered the light using separate power? can you explain please?
The relays are used to control when each light is connected to the 24V power supply via the barrel jack.
Is it possible to program tower light without relay board?
