one of my favorite line from batman 🦇

It is highly speculated that Superman tore Green Arrow's arm off just to make an example, telling all the other superheroes (excluding Batman) who refuse to retire to hang up their capes. From the way Clark and Bruce conversed, it is clear that the former did not want to do it but had to under government orders.

Batman in a way still showed respect.
In the end batman says that superman won't go after them as long as they stay in the shadows. If Superman was a coward he would have killed them in the cemetery but its not how Superman operates and there is still a respect between them.
Sadly frank Miller lost his touch with the story and wrote the horrible dark knight strikes again.
That horrible sequel was fixed with dark knight returns part 3. In it batman is the one to get outclassed by kryptonians and even dies. Superman not only Revives batman and makes him younger in the story but proceeds to destroy the kryptonians with pure martial arts and punch timing. Batman was so impressed he claimed that he himself is still a student to the skill Superman showcased and he even got mad about it when he figured out Superman has been holding back the entire time.

You misunderstood what was happening with Superman after he was nuked. He was draining the solar radiation out of the surrounding plant life to rejuvenate himself.

It makes (slightly) more sense in the book, where they specifically say the missile wasn't a nuclear fission device but a bomb designed to black out the sun with black dust, specifically so Superman is neutralised - it has the same explosive power of a nuke but without the radiation, hence why Gotham and the rest of the US don't all die from radiation poisoning from the ashfall or anything like that; Superman taking it high up into the atmosphere thinking it was a nuke and trying to make sure it detonated at the edge of the atmosphere where it was safer ironically dnds up spreading the fallout further and wider. I guess non-nuclear missiles can theoretically produce enough explosive force to match a nuke, but it would likely be inordinately heavy to match the megatonnage of even a small nuke, and would still have to create an EMP, which is technically possible to do without using a nuke but the fact we've got to find explanations and caveats make it a bit of a copout. All of which makes about as much sense as being able to absorb solar radiation out of plant life, which isn't really how photosynthesis works either. It's best not to think about it too hard.

clearly he was sucking the life force out of the plants, not solar radiation. Plants do not 'hold' solar radiation .......this is basic science and biology....

So it’s highly suggested in the comic book that he actually did kill the joker when his neck snapped. Everything after that is an internal conversation which is why you see his face change.

No Exactly, It Was Reveled To The Other Theories Like The Batman Is Joker As The Batman Is Thr Master Of Disguise And The Master Of Intrigue The Batman As Joker Did The Crimes To Stop Other Crimes An The People The Batman As Joker Killed Never Existed Like Even Rachel Dawes In
The Dark Knight Movie The Batman Created An Illusion Of The Lawyer Rachel Dawes Around The Gotham As The Bruce Wayne Created Of Illusion Of Alfred As Alfred Never Existed But Is In The Mind Of The Bruce Wayne And So People See
The Bruce Wayne As Patient And One Of The Many Reasons They Can't Relate Him To The Batman And So When The Batman Dies The Mind Of The Bruce Wayne And The Mind Of Alfred Dies Too And It May Seem In The Comic Book That The Batman Is Talking To Himself But The Batman Is Talking To Joker As The Batman Is Joker You Know Like The Movie Of Fight Club!

I personally don't put a lot of stock in this theory, in the same way I don't buy the similar one connected to The Killing Joke. If anything, it feels like fans wanting to have their cake and eat it.

    • @deathtime5288

In My View The Killing Joke Theory Is Not Entirely Correct Either But As The Killing Joke Theory Is Entirely Different Which Does Connects To The Batman Is Joker Theory Which Applies To Every Single The Batman Movies And The Batman Comic Books As In The End Of Teh Batman The Killing Joke, Joker Is Talking About Two Persons Who Are Actually The Same Just Like The Batman And Joker So The Joker Is Talking About The Batman And Joker As The Laugh Ends The Batman Kills Joker Inside His Head Just Like In The Batman Arkham Knight The Batman Locks Away Joker Inside His Head Forever But That Doesn't Mean The Bruce Wayne Can't Create A New One In His Head And That's What The Killing Joke Theory Is Which Completely Actually Makes Sense It's Upto The Question That The Batman Killed Joker Inside His Head So That The New One Of Arrived Could Be Less Insane Or More Or The Batman Locked Joker So That The Bruce Wayne Can Open The Lock Whenever The Bruce Wayne Want For Damn Sure!

    • @stynershiner1854
      @stynershiner1854 2 роки тому +1

No. It is highly suggested that he didn't kill the Joker. That is why he has no charges of murder against him when Ellen Yindel confronts the Batman.

Fun fact for anybody that doesn't know it but David Endocrine is parody for David Letterman. When, Frank Miller created this in the 80s, David Letterman was the most popular TV host at the time. He appealed to younger viewers.
Conan O'Brien voiced David Endocrine in the movie and Conan was hugely inspired and worshipped Letterman as he was starting out. Imagine getting to portray an idol of yours. That would be incredible!

Oh and when Superman says it’s their world I think he means it’s the humans world and the superheroes were doing more harm than good so that’s why he sided with the government which kinda makes sense since this is set during the cold war so I think heroes were active during ww2 or just after

"All the people I've murdered by letting you live."
    "I never kept count."
    "I did."
"I know. And I love you for it."
This is peak Joker to me. The one who revels in everything he does because Batman is the one who feels the guilt, all due to his vow not to kill.

In case you were curious in this movie it’s implied Batman retired because joker killed and tortured Jason his second robin so instead of Tim or Damien karry is the next robin in this movie and I don’t think dick became nightwing or he had to stop because of Superman again it’s all a theory but it’s hinted at with Bruce’s retirement at least dick is more of a guess

I don’t know why they decided to put all the characters we know and love in their 60’s+ I don’t know why they chose the Cold War and had Richard Nixon be the president. (Probably because when the heroes were initially written for certain era.) But they made it all work SO WELL. Every grudge, every long awaited battle, and how it all played out because the world just couldn’t handle the superheroes anymore. To the point where they could barely live their lives.
Oliver Queen, Hal Jordan, Diana of Themiscara. For them to not even be allowed to be apart of the world anymore when all they did was save lives. I can’t even fathom such conclusions to be made. Even though I know darn well any world with ACTUAL superpowers is beyond unstable. And Superman gets to keep doing his thing so long as he’s personally approved by the president. What a way to get their battle to go.
This Superman vs Batman is the best one. And I don’t see anything being close. “I want you to remember in your most private moments the one man who beat you.” To prove you’re not the only titan and never will be.
This movie is just everything for comic fans. I wish they gave it their all for other superhero movies. Some things just should be animated. And this is definitely one of them.
