That's where EZ Mil's family is from over there. Last I read he resides somewhere in the 818 of California. He also plays guitar and performs in other genres, namely death metal under the pseudonym Slashmouth
Back here after the Em signing announcement. Bars transcend language!! The first time I heard this track it got me right in the feels, eyes sweating crazy. Seeing your reaction got me excited to see this kid grow!
The song is all about him, patriotism and proud being Filipino. He also introducing and representing himself as Filipino Rapper outside his home country and he's hungry on whatever the obstacles he faces. Cause He's Filipino by Blood. "Pinoy" stands for Filipino.. It's like "Hispanic" or "Chicano" for Mexicans. Chorus - he's being proud to be Filipino. "Panalo" means Victory or Win. He's telling every Filipinos to unite, be proud and stand-up on whatever color, looks, language, whenever and wherever.
1st verse - (English) showcasing about him because he's new in the game. where he live, how he live and traits that he got for being Filipino 2nd verse (Tagalog. Filipino Language) - He's telling everyone, that he can speak 3 forms of language or more (1 english, 1 tagalog, 1 Ilocano, etc.) and don't underestimate him on what he can do 2nd verse point 1 "2.1" (Ilocano, another form of Filipino Language) - I'm not an Ilocano person, but upon checking on other sites, he's cursing to all his haters and gave warning to them. showcasing his fierceness to everyone that whatever come what may, he can crush them without a doubt (well.. that's Filipino blood. we fight ti'l the end). Bridge - He's telling us that he's been discriminated on his own country when he was a child.. in short, he's been bullied by his race and color ("Tisoy" is like a racism bully.. in other term "White Boy").. But he's correcting that. He doesn't care about they're saying, and his engraged.. cause he's PINOY! 3rd verse - (rapid rap. combination of English and Filipino) - He told a li'l bit of Philippine History and Hero/es. He's telling us that it's already a "WIN" for him even we have been colonized by different Races. Filipinoes are equal by blood. The blood of being Filipino is everything. **Your reactions are on-point man. you've got the message even it's a different language.. NOW REACT TO FREEZE and I will assure you, you will lose your shit! LOL!
In the chorus, he's saying that, "we are Filipino's, we'll take it to heart whatever the skin colour is. Whether it be Tagalog, Bisaya, Ilocano (Different Filipino dialects), nobody can defeat the force of our blood. Shout our win loud, don't talk about the negativities happening around the world, it's now our tomorrow. *My first time hearing the full song, and did my best line per line. Shouts to all the Filipino's out there! 🇵🇭
He did a media conference last night. His name is Ezekiel Miller. He lives in Vegas. His mom is American with her last name Miller. His dad is Filipino lead singer of a 90s band Rockstar.
This is the real REACTION VIDEO I've seen so far. He understood some part of the song even he can't understand the language except English. love from Philippines. I subscribed your channel because of your real reaction.
Proud Pinoy here! The chorus translated: We are Filipinos; Whatever the color of our skin, we'll take it to heart; Whether Tagalog, Bisaya, or Ilocano; No one can beat the ferocity of our blood; Shout out loud or our win; No need to talk about the negative events; Wherever you are in the world; This is our tomorrow; WIN! This is TOUGH!!!!! Thank you for this reaction!!!! Filipinos rise up!!!!
I am Portuguese, unfortunately never been in the Philippines but definitely, this was my first lesson of Filipino Language with Shaq and EZ! Thank You! ✌🏽
Here is the nearest translation of the chorus and verse one of Panalo/ Victorioso in Spanish : Sin embargo, como dijeron: Puedes sacar a un hombre del capó Pero no puedes quitarle la capucha al hombre Compatriotas, ¡aparezcan! ¡VICTORIOSO!
One thing I really appreciate about Shaq is that he’s the only one I’ve seen not just “bumpin” to the music in his reactions. He watches listens and learns. Even thinks about interpreting body language and everything. This guy is sharp as fuck. I didn’t even know he said “I’m not white. I’m Filipino.” GET IT SHAQ!!!
🔥 FYI: His real name is Ezekiel Miller, born in the Philippines (Olongapo City) on July 27, 1998. He is using his mothers surname & His father Paul Saperia was the Lead Guitarist for the band Rockstar back in the days. 🔥EZ Mil (pronounced as Eazy/Easy Mil) spoke 3 languages on the video (Tagalog, English & Ilocano). 2 dialects in Philippines (except English) that is prominent inside the big island of Luzon. The section in the video where a voice asked him to rap in Ilocano is when he was so fierce that he almost cussed (but he knew he could not because it's the Wish Bus) was truly felt. 🔥He said, the 3 stars in the sun which is the Philippines National Flag, on the later part of the rap lyrics he is actually talking about the Fillipino National Heroes who died fighting for freedom since we we're colonized by the Spaniards for 333 years. (See the part where he mentioned "I've been in Spain, but the letter "S" is silent."?) 🔥"Panalo" means: Winner, win, victory or victorious! 🔥Also he mentioned Kendrick, Eminem and ASAP! (The kings of rap) 🔥And when you guys thought he was mad, no he is not he was expressing alot of emotions and that's how Ilocanos talk on a daily basis. 🔥His mother is 1/2 Filipino and 1/2 American, his father is full Filipino. Chorus loosely translates to: We are Filipino! No matter the color of your skin, were one in the heart Even if Tagalog, Bisaya, or Ilocano. Nothing can beat the fierceness of our blood, Shout out loud for our victory! No need to talk about the negative events. Wherever in the world you are, Future is ours!
Oh thank you this is really informative. I thought EZ MIL, was a screen name for Easy Millions cause y'know.. i mean.. with that caliber of talent it make sense 🙃
He was basically singing about how we as Filipinos should be talking about the positivity instead of the discrimination/negativity towards each other so we all can WIN.
This is the best way to describe it. I hate it when my friends keep saying that it's about the Filipino's history. I mean Ez did talk about Filipino history in the verse but the whole song in itself isn't about Philippine history in a nut shell.
@@derechosky There will always be haters. No matter what you do in this world, but to hate on your own people just because he doesn't look like us or his personalities doesn't fit your criteria for being what a role model is. Then that's fucked up, we need to learn to just appreciate the wins and use the losses as a fuel to gain more Ws. He compared the us RIGHT AFTER the Spaniard Colonization. We were ONE, together, never doubted each other. Same goes after the 9/11 attack on the US soil, the next few weeks after the attack was the only time I saw the US actually being UNITED. That's what the comparison was about, the song isn't about the history of it.
Of all the reactions made to this iconic song of EZ Mil, this one's the best! Everything you said was on point and definitely talking about his roots, his ethnicity and his authenticity on how amazing he expresses his love and passion with music. You're dope bro and keep on reacting with EZ Mil's dope songs! Much love all the waybfrom Philippines ❤️
I been to the Philippines a few times, ang jowa ko ay pinay. I love the pride the Filipino people. I speak tagalog and I'm proud of it. I met some amazing people there. Soon be familia! Ez Mil is a great talent, but tbh, all Filipinos are talented. Just listen to the sounds of the karaoke in the night...sa Manila, Cebu, Iloilo, Davo, Mindanao, Batangas, Olongapo, lahat-lahat .... makal kita Philippines. Salamat to my love 💕
Holy SHIT it’s been a long time since I’ve seen that kind of passion and rage in a performance. Even when I couldn’t understand him I was entranced. So glad you found this dude.

Dope bro Love from northeast India 🇮🇳 Btw we are also discriminated over here for not looking like them ... even our own countrymen calls us “CHINGY” .....
He did say ‘since Lapu-Lapu was beheaded in Mactan’. But was it Lapu-Lapu or Magellan who was killed in Mactan? Im pretty sure Lapu-Lapu killed Magellan in the battle of Mactan. What im not sure is if Lapu-Lapu was also killed in that battle after he killed Magellan.
I can’t believe that a Filipino Artist will reach No life Shaq’s Radar and I’m a Filipino🇵🇭 My favorite reactor reacting to my favorite song right now.😳😳DAMN🔥🔥

Shaq, EZ MIL Said. Original: “Ever since ‘bata ako’ I kind a been discriminated on my own home country. Some say like “Ang puti puti mo” Tisoy! I ain’t Tisoy! I’m Pinoy! Translated: “Ever since ‘I was a kid/child’ I kind a been discriminated on my own home country. Some say like “you’re complexion is white” Caucasian! I ain’t caucasian! I’m Filipino!
My Grandfather came here during WWII via US NAVY. I’m the grandson of a Filipino immigrant. And I’m very proud of my Filipino heritage so much so I have the Philippine Flag tattooed on my back. So to finally have a talented young man such as EZ MIL to represent that part of my heritage in the music industry is awesome 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭💪🏼
I love his passion and his love of his heritage and country. This guy has so much energy in his rapping abilities. You can tell Hip Hop runs thru his soul. Awesome find Shaq!
Fun Fact: Ez Mil is only 22 years old and isn't only a rapper... he also sing, dance, play musical instruments--piano, acoustic and electric guitar. He writes and compose his own songs and even produce it. GENIUS! He also directs, edits, add visual effects on his own music videos which you can check on his yt channel, Ez Mil. Also, he has another yt channel called SLASHMOUTH, where it features death metal rock genre! 🤟 Music Influences: Eminem, Kendrick, A$AP and Chris Brown Trivia: In HipHop world, he's called EZ MIL. While in Rock Metal world, he's called SLASHMOUTH.
Now this is what I call a reaction, Shaq literally understand the meaning of the song, even if it includes tagalog and ilocano, he literally UNDERSTANDS, Shaq is the most wholesome reactor imo.
Thank you Shaq!!! Here's some English Translation for the lyrics!!! [Intro] Like they said though: You can take a man out the hood But you can't take the hood out the man

He basically singing using 3 languages, first is english, then the national language of the Philippines tagalog, and the dialect of his hometown Ilokano.
Ilocano is a Language not a dialect. Dialect is a variety of a Language like "Tagalog in Batangas, Tagalog in Bulacan, Tagalog in Manila" or "Ilocano in Pangasinan, Ilocano in Isabela, Ilocano in Baguio" that is Dialect.

Here it is!!! Hope you notice my comment
He lives in America because his mom is American of course. He is saying thru his song that he recognise his dad's root, makes him sad that Filipinos discriminated him by calling him Tisoy. Still, even if he isn't living in the Philippines, he is still proud by flaunting the dialects he could speak back home. Most Filipinos who live in America now would barely speak their native dialects. I think he wants to remind all Filipinos to always remain Filipinos by heart. Be proud of our roots. That is all.
Just a clarification. Tagalog, Bisaya and Ilocano are not dialects. They're languages because they are spoken over a wide area of the country. They're actually 3 of the 8 major languages spoken in the Philippines. A dialect is spoken only in one area. Like let's say Chavacano, which is spoken only in Zamboanga. :)
@@cylareashea1056 Yes, I believe you are right. And to add to this statement, I believe they are also languages because they are not just strewn-off of the Filipino language. Bisayan and Ilocano are their own distinct languages. They are at least as different if not more than say Spanish vs Italian, and we think of them as separate languages. So we should also see how these are their own languages too. I've studied a bit of language history haha. Very interesting. Mabuhay! Ako ay Pilipino too and if I am not wrong, I think Bisayan was spoken by more individuals when they declared Tagalog the official language back in the day, and now that is why Tagalog has become prominent. Either way, let's just be happy to be represented! WOO!
@@JollyRogerHobbies actually from what I've heard, nope. No national language... Yet. It's just that the major literary works were written either in Tagalog or Spanish, so we have that in the education system. Experts are still trying to make the national language. I heard that from uni, and good luck to me if I can ever hear the national language they make in my lifetime 😂

yep... and if he was really dark, Filipinos would still discriminate for them being too dark. Colorism is stupid. my dark skinned Filipina aunt invests her money in skin whitening soap... im like "you're dating a black dude... his skin color doesnt matter to you. what makes you think yours matter to him?" from then on, she stopped buying skin whitening products LOL
I'ma let you know something you don't know. Philipino's are not Asian. They are considered pacific islander's along with Samoans, Fijian and Guamanians. So get that shit right y'all.
@@simplyfamilyent4346 U mean Austronesian? Filipinos along with Polynesian, Madagascar, some Taiwanese and mostly ASEAN countries are same with Filipinos.
The line “I’ve been in Spain, but the letter S is silent (Pain)”. He is referring to the history where Philippines is conquered by Spain for 333 years! Filipino suffered in that time! And when he says “I’ve been in Spain” he is talking in general (all Filipino) not only himself.
"Blue, red draped down on the flag No we never fear none" The normal Philippine flag has the blue above the red. If the red is above the blue, it signifies war.
Yeah, Funny story when I was assigned to raise the flag when I was a boy scout, I accidentally raised the flag in the wrong way and all hell broke loose
his line “i been to spain but the letter s is silent” is in reference to the philippines being conquered by spain for hundreds of years and how spaniards essentially caused pain to the native filipinos culturally, like filipinos did to ez mil in his youth. 13:12 i’m also glad you picked up on that line even though you didn’t know what “tisoy” meant

He spoken 3 different languages in this song. 1st verse English 2nd Half Tagalog (Filipino) 2nd Last Half (Ilokano) one of a oldest dialect/language in the Philippines. 3rd Verse mix between English and Tagalog.
TRANSLATION FOR YOU SHAQ! IDK IF YOU GON READ IT BUT YOU ASKED FOR IT! :D "Panalo" means "to be winning" or "victory" (I put some translations and comments at the bottom, that's what the numbers are for!) [HOOK] (In Tagalog / Standard Filipino) We are Filipinos! Regardless of the color of the skin, we are one at heart. Whether you speak Tagalog, Bisaya, or Ilocano. No one can beat the ferocity of our blood! Roar our victory! Don't talk about the negative events that are happening anymore. [1] Whichever region you're in... This is already our future, so let's be victorious! [2ND VERSE] (In Tagalog / Standard Filipino) If you thought Ez Mil could only speak 1 language you won't be benefiting from that mindset. You owe the Creator The debt that's surfacing out your empty head. Serve it on "turon" [2] with roasted cat in the--- (Speak Ilocano, buddy!) What? (Ilocano! Ilocano!) Okay! (In Ilocano / Major Dialect of Northern Luzon) [I don't speak Ilocano, but I tried my best to translate it!] I ALREADY SAID THIS BUT LET ME REMIND YOU MOTHERF**KERS: I'M HERE WAITING FOR ANYONE THAT WANTS TO TEST ME! WHY ARE YOU BEING SUCH A B*TCH, WHY ARE YOU CRYING? WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO GIVE ME "ADVICE"? DO YOU WANNA GET MURDERED IN THIS TOWN? All of you (in Ilocano) All of you (in Tagalog) All of you (in English) Ever since I was a child I've been kinda discriminated in my own home country. Some would be like: "You're so white! Tisoy!" I ain't Tisoy! I'M PINOY! [3RD VERSE[ (Mixed) Nobody will ever look at me The same way again I'll make it to the top While I be showin' nay-sayers and I've been winning since Lapu-Lapu was beheaded in Mactan! [4] And all the soldiers were mad When they found out that a foreigner Was the one that killed their leader While they were standing within the borders That were owned by Filipinos. Despite all of my turmoil, I'll be proud of my soil. WHY? Cuz [HOOK] [1] There have been a lot of horrible events that happened in the Philippines recently, and lately, that's all that everyone in the country has been talking about [2] "Turon" is a deep-fried Filipino dessert. [3] Tisoy is a racist insult against mixed Filipinos [4] This took place in 1542. The controversial thing about this bar is that it's not factually correct because Lapu-Lapu wasn't beheaded in Mactan, in fact, Lapu-Lapu was the one who beheaded his enemy (Magellan). HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT! This is the least I could do since you always giving all of us fire content for free! :D God bless! Love from the Philippines!
why the fuck does the "filipino attendace", "filipino wya", "filipino bla bla" comments have more likes than this? this just shows how weak we are.. we like unnecessary things more than things that actually educate us.. that's why we stay dumb, and that's why we stay as 3rd worlders.. i we started "like"-ing things that would help us grow, we would have all been "Ez Mil"s
"I've been in Spain, but the letter "S" is "Silent" Because Philippines once colonized by SPAIN but instead of fair treatment they treated the Filipino's as slave & called Filipino's "indio" (idiot). That's being under colonization of Spain was very "PAINFUL" or in "PAIN"
Thanks for explaining that. Now it makes sense on why he’d his reign like a King. Other nationalities who are unfamiliar with the PI history wouldn’t have understood that.
Just one correction, “Indio” means indigenous/native, I know this cause I’m Brazilian and we use the same word for natives (which I’m part of). That’s in Portuguese I don’t know if I’m Spanish the meaning is different, I just assumed cause Portuguese and Spanish are very similar

Let's be honest. Every Filipino watching this smiled throughout the video. Any foreigner saying anything remotely related to the Philippines we get gasses
So basically what he's tryna say is that we filipinos should be proud of our country and stop talkin bout negative shits. And he said that he got discriminated in his own country because here in the philippines, most of the filipinos are brown and he white

1st verse - (English) showcasing about him because he's new in the game. where he live, how he live and traits that he got for being Filipino
2nd verse (Tagalog. Filipino Language) - He's telling everyone, that he can speak 3 forms of language or more (1 english, 1 tagalog, 1 Ilocano, etc.) and don't underestimate him on what he can do
2nd verse point 1 "2.1" (Ilocano, another form of Filipino Language) - I'm not an Ilocano person, but upon checking on other sites, he's cursing to all his haters and gave warning to them. showcasing his fierceness to everyone that whatever come what may, he can crush them without a doubt (well.. that's Filipino blood. we fight ti'l the end).
LOL!

Here is the nearest translation of the chorus and verse one of Panalo/ Victorioso in Spanish :
Sin embargo, como dijeron:
Puedes sacar a un hombre del capó
Pero no puedes quitarle la capucha al hombre
Compatriotas, ¡aparezcan!
Somos filipinos
Cualquier color de piel
ponlo en serio,
ya sea tagalog, visaya o ilocano
Nadie puede vencer la ferocidad
De nuestra sangre
Grita fuerte
Nuestra victoria
No hables de eso
Eventos negativos
Donde quiera que estés
En el mundo
es nuestro futuro
¡VICTORIOSO!
Si
He estado en España (España)
No, nunca tememos a nadie
SOMOS FILIPINOS....
¡VICTORIOSO!

(See the part where he mentioned "I've been in Spain, but the letter "S" is silent."?)
🔥"Panalo" means: Winner, win, victory or victorious!
🔥Also he mentioned Kendrick, Eminem and ASAP! (The kings of rap)
🔥And when you guys thought he was mad, no he is not he was expressing alot of emotions and that's how Ilocanos talk on a daily basis.
🔥His mother is 1/2 Filipino and 1/2 American, his father is full Filipino.
Chorus loosely translates to:

Music Influences: Eminem, Kendrick, A$AP and Chris Brown
Trivia: In HipHop world, he's called EZ MIL. While in Rock Metal world, he's called SLASHMOUTH.
Ez Mil is one of the most talented rappers ever, It gives me chills when I listen to "Panalo" because the lyrics and beat is AMAZING

Here it is!!! Hope you notice my comment
im from malaysia and i love ez mil , when he goo into shaq radar you know he's a great rappers.

The line “I’ve been in Spain, but the letter S is silent (Pain)”. He is referring to the history where Philippines is conquered by Spain for 333 years! Filipino suffered in that time! And when he says “I’ve been in Spain” he is talking in general (all Filipino) not only himself.
When he said "water crops for survivin" Adlib said "rain rain" he said go away, part of the scheme no one got. Went over heads
"Blue, red draped down on the flag
No we never fear none"
The normal Philippine flag has the blue above the red. If the red is above the blue, it signifies war.

And all the soldiers were mad
When they found out that a foreigner
Was the one that killed their leader
While they were standing within the borders
That were owned by Filipinos.
Despite all of my turmoil,
I'll be proud of my soil.
WHY?
Cuz [HOOK]
[1] There have been a lot of horrible events that happened in the Philippines recently, and lately, that's all that everyone in the country has been talking about
[2] "Turon" is a deep-fried Filipino dessert.
[3] Tisoy is a racist insult against mixed Filipinos
[4] This took place in 1542. The controversial thing about this bar is that it's not factually correct because Lapu-Lapu wasn't beheaded in Mactan, in fact, Lapu-Lapu was the one who beheaded his enemy (Magellan).

Just one correction, “Indio” means indigenous/native, I know this cause I’m Brazilian and we use the same word for natives (which I’m part of). That’s in Portuguese I don’t know if I’m Spanish the meaning is different, I just assumed cause Portuguese and Spanish are very similar

@@davidvidal5297 that's absolutely correct but technically they used it as a title to their slaves & uneducated person.
"I'm in Spain, but the S is silent"
Philippines was colonized by SPAIN for more than 300 years. That's probably the reference to that.
Actually s in spain is silent meant he used to be in pain thats what a silent s means you can hear it in the background as well
@@asagirigen8025 Yes, I heard that LOUD AND CLEAR. Its been a PAIN for us FILIPINOS when SPANIARDS colonized us for more than 300 years. Don't teach me about our HISTORY, go back to school and study History. By the way, you can google it its free.
@@rairamses9141 talk ur truth bro✊🏾let em KNOW! 💪

Yes Ez Mil lives in US now but his heart left in the Philippines, he just wanted the Filipino people to be united again & be proud of bring a Filipino.
He raps, sings, dance, compose songs, plays guitar, directs music video, do the video editing. He's full of talent.
This shit brought a tear to my eye. The Mabuhay Singers style in the chorus was a nice touch 🇺🇸🇵🇭💪🏽
That bar with "the s is silent" is deeper than we know. Spain collinized Phillipines so he in Spain but the S is silent...🤯🤯🤯
Thats crazy
Wowww!
333 years
Spain colonized Philippines for 333 years.
Fuuuuckin big facts!
Now I get now why "MUSIC IS A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE"
Yess
Now this is what I call a damn REACTION! He's dissecting the song with passion, not like others who just want the views.
thats why im proud of ez mil man hes achieved getting a reaction from shaq since hes one of the top dogs when it comes to music reaction channels.
He can speak in 3 local dialect in the Philippines such as Tagalog,Iocano and Bisaya,he is talented thumbs up!
He ain’t playin. He meant every words he said. After going through the pain of not fitting in, he’s proud to be a Filipino!
Let's be honest. Every Filipino watching this smiled throughout the video. Any foreigner saying anything remotely related to the Philippines we get gasses
On God we hella proud when we get put on the map
yeah and its cringe.
@@ST-ye1hj tf wrong witchu? 💀
@@aj2smoove filipinos are too desperate to be recognized that foreigners use that to gain viewers by mentioning or making videos about their country.
@@ST-ye1hj it's because we don't get recognized enough.. who tf do u think u are saying being proud of your heritage is cringe??
So basically what he's tryna say is that we filipinos should be proud of our country and stop talkin bout negative shits. And he said that he got discriminated in his own country because here in the philippines, most of the filipinos are brown and he white
dont forget our darker skinned kabayans.
He says he got discriminated for being light skinned. But I THINK it's more of the brown Pinoys feeling inferior around him, because he's a mestizo.
One of the best reactor I've ever seen on youtube that I did not skip some parts. Your reaction is genuine man. Hope you got more subs and keep doing what you really like. Thank you again for your reaction.
I still come back to this one of a kind reaction and it's no wonder if this reaches a million views one day. This reaction is the perfect example of *MUSIC* being a universal language. Even without lyrics onhand and reacting to a song with a different language, his reactions were still on point. Kudos!

Facts!! I’m English and have chills listening to this! 🔥 Music is universal ❤
*Shaq: Do the subtitle work?*
