This analysis really helped me understand the poem even though I had a visceral reaction to it on first reading...as a birder, I am oftentimes held breathless and captivated by the
sight of a bird doing something. So much so that it stops me and "pulls me out of myself." Really wonderful to listen to this for a fuller understanding.
