The planter turned great! While I'm not a fan of rusty kitchen utensils, the toilet bowl cleaner certainly did the job.
The planter is GORGEOUS! I too try to rescue thrift finds and often get carried away in my efforts.
I love what you did to that broken large planter!
thanks!
Steel wool and goo be gone for the blue vase. I absolutely loved the first vase! The color was really pretty!
I was going to suggest a wire brush or steel wool. They never disappoint LOL
thanks for the tip
Nail polish remover for the blue paint that wouldn’t budge.
This is exactly what I was going to comment!!
@@ildi1969 me too
thanks for the tip
Steel wool?
I wonder if soaking in the Oxi solution overnight might work for this?

I love love love that pot you fixed up with roses and your home made color, this may be my all time fave of yours.
Love your thrift flip videos. The pot with the added clay moulds was great. The one little fallen leaf at the bottom rim was perfect.
That large planter turned out beautifully!
That planter with the roses, it’s beautiful!
The glass jar, use steel wool while wet with the dish soap water to get color off bottom. Might take elbow grease, but I think that would work. I died a little when you painted the sunflower teapot!
I was going to say the same thing about the steel wool! 👍👍👍
Same thought about steel wool!
I suggested she try a paint thinner, mineral, spirits or turpentine. Also, nail polish remover. It’s worth a try. I wouldn’t give up until I tried other things.
Me too!I absolutely love sunflowers and teapots.
The rusty crusty kitchen gadgets are awesome!!!
White pot turned out beautiful with the iod mold and clay , wow
Love the one making a moulded Rose and painting the whole pot, l've learnt something today. Thank you 👏

Can't tell u which I liked best..because....all your ideas are SUPER!!! The rose color you created was really pretty!!
Thank you so much 😀
The white on the flower worked great. Good job.
Absolutely incredible job on the damaged planter.
Loved all the projects, but the transformation of the damaged planter with the IOD moulds was terrific!
Charming flips! I love the "Make Your Own Wax Color" reference. This really makes possibilities with the color wheel endless!
These are all great updates. I really like the large pear and the large bowl where you added the roses.
I like the flower pot with the IOD molds. It turned out gorgeous and better then if it never had a broken piece. Great ideas! Thanks for another great Video.
Love the big pot with rose. Beautiful
Oh my goodness!! I just love the brilliant way you transformed the planter with the owie with the rose mold! Gorgeous and easily my favorite. But wait!! The pear was also my favorite. Thank you, Julie!
The faux cement look made the horse and pear so modern and adorable! Same with the white wax on those (previously ugly) plaques! Love to see how they get a new second life and can now fit in with modern decor! Perfect!
Loved the large vase the best.
Oh Julie! You are a genius! Love what you did with the planter!
These are my favorite videos! Love all the projects but the planter with the molds is my favorite!
Loved them all!😍
Hi Julie! Everything turned out great! On the glass jug that was blue, I buy the silver scratch pads with NO soap or anything in them from dollar tree. I use these for taking off the sharpie marker spots that goodwill insists on putting on the bottom of every item they sell...🤦♀️🤦♀️. And I also use them to take off those pesky sticky tags, once I've soaked them for a bit in hot soapy dishwater, same with sharpie. Soak it in dishwater and those little scrubby pads takes it off generally. I am thinking that if you soak that jug again, you'd be able to get in the crevices of the bottom of that jug. I always use 🔥 WATER with my dish soap. I dont know if that makes a difference or not but I always get the nastiness off!! Happy scrubbing!! And the jug was my favorite, so I hope it came out ok!!
Loved how these products turned out! Stunning!!!❤

Yeah Julie. It was good to see you doing what you do! What great ideas and techniques you shared today. Thank you sooooo much!!!!
Love them all especially the tea pots. 🌸🌻🌻🌸🧡
Years ago there was a DIY program where the host used a lot of cement huge bowls , planters etc to use as holders for food. She used bowls of course but placed them in the planters that were all different heights and sizes. She used white linen table cloths draped over a long farm table, outside, with tall green bushes as her backdrop. The entire table was in white, cement and touches of green. Gorgeous!!!!
Great ideas!!! Thanks so much! I especially loved the flower planter w/ the pink flowers!!! That was very pretty!!

I did a set of horse bookends back in 83 and they are shiny white. Never thought about painting over the shiny white. Also I used your baking soda and paint idea to paint some plastic eggs for Easter. They turned out great. Thank you for all your wonderful ideas.

Loved these! Favorite was the first planter you did. It turned out awesome.
Loved the first project. Very nice!!
Everything looked great, but I was amazed at the results of the toilet bowl cleaner method for a rust affect.
I really liked the pear after you updated it. I'm going to try that!
Julie,This was an awesome video. You reminded me about the uses of faux concrete baking soda and paint method. I also loved the simple idea of “just turn it around” and soaking stains out and use of toilet bowl cleaner to rust! Thank you, I am off to shop my storage shelves! Again, thank you for this video and your creativity.
You are such a talented person. Love all your tips and ideas. The plaques with the white wax are wonderful.
Great stuff loved it
Really enjoyed this!!!!!!
This was so fun and informative. You seriously know what you’re doing!!!
I must say taking an actual new inexpensive piece and making it rusted is brilliant. I know to each there own but it breaks my heart every time I see a good vintage/antique piece destroyed beyond repair to make it updated when they could take a cheap new piece instead and get the same results. I really do get folks changing tastes, however many pieces I see redone are actual antiques worth way more than people realize. Liked you waxed metal basket idea too.
Great projects - all of them. Love the huge pear & the damaged big pot; you fixed it & painted it beautifully 💗. LOVE the green nail polish!!!!!!!
Thank you thank you for the rust hack! Needed that one!!!!!!! Everything beautiful as always!
You are so welcome!
Love this. I have the perfect pot to fix
